Millennium Baileys Hotel London Kensington - London

This is the second time I have stayed at the Baileys. It is very conveniently located next to the Gloucester Rd Tube station from where you can access the Picadilly line (to/from Heathrow...37 minutes; Covent Gdn, for West End theatre etc, St Pancras for Eurostar), Circle & District Lines. There is a bus stop right outside & buses go frequently to Kensington High St or Kings Rd, Chelsea. The open top sightseeing bus also stops outside the hotel on Gloucester Rd. The V & A and Natural History Museum are just a short stroll down the road. All hotel staff are very friendly & obliging; the breakfasts are great & plentiful; wi-fi is free in the bar & lobby & in Club rooms. I stayed this time in a twin Club Room which was very spacious & included an iron/ironing board, tea/coffee & kettle & free wi-fi. I love this hotel & would stay again.

Excellent hotel conveniently close to lots of museumsand concert halls. Staaf is good, but there is terrible music in the bar. And much too loud !!!

The position of the hotel is excellent. We book one standard room and at the arrival they give us a big size room at the same price! Wonderfull! We enjoy very much this hotel.

Stop at this hotel on a regular basis and this was the worst stay that I have had. Safe in room was not working so had to leave valuables in the hotel safe. Despite being reported this was not fixed during our stay. Hot tap in bathroom not working. Specifically requested a room with a bath as unable to take showers. Was told that this would be fixed but would be at least an hour. As I had an appointment this was unacceptable. So a cold bath ensued. The problem was fixed will we were out. Nobody from the Hotel offered as much as an apology or concern.

This is the perfect hotel for those London-regulars that are tired of dirty and moldy bathrooms and poor service. The hotel-location is also perfectly sentral and in imediate distance to the tube.

This time my room was on the 3rd floor and I have the impression that the condition of the wooden floor under the carpets is worse then on the 2nd floor. Even normal steps caused noise and it was very disturbing. The continental breakfast is good, but there are no vegetables.

Very satisfied. Nice room, great location.

The single room is quite small and the other things I was a bit disappointed with were the sink in the bathroom (British style, not mixed)and the fact that there are two windows (the original one and a new one)and even if you open both there's no direct access to fresh air.

Prefer the other milennium hotels, for 4 star you did not get all the things one should in a bathroom

FABULOUS location!!! If this is your price range, then go for it. Tube station, Starbucks, 24-hour mini-market, and drugstore all right across the street! Very nice bathroom and lovely lobby. But save your money and forgo the Heathrow Express. Just take the regular TUBE...takes longer but cheaper and actually fewer stairs to climb with luggage.
