One overnight is not enough to get full picture about one hotel. Anyway, the first contact with reception left the feeling of being treated routinely. Informations how to get around in the town or about parking regulation in the hotel was hard to get. The room was, well, surprisingly organized. Besides the double bed, there was a third bed in some kind of niche. The room is just big enough to manoeuvre around the bed. Some decorations are just an obstacle. The bathroom was the biggest surprise. Without door to separate it from the sleeping room is hard to have a minimum privacy while inside. By the way the room didn't have a proper wardrobe. If you reach for the window to open, there is a writing near the handle, asking the guests not to open the window – because of mosquitoes and spiders. The room and bathroom were absolutely clean and equipped with everything a guest might need.

By car
From Berlin: go to the Funkturm Avus motorway triangle A100-A115, take the Potsdam-Babelsberg exit and follow signs to Potsdam.Zentrum (centre). From Hamburg: A10 motorway, Potsdam Nord exit, then follow signs to Potsdam-Zentrum (centre). From south: Potsdam motorway triangle, A10 as far as the Nuthetal motorway triangle, then join A115 towards Berlin, take Berlin-Babelsberg exit and head for Potsdam-Zentrum (centre).
By train
from Berlin Hauptbahnhof: take the Regionalbahn (regonal train) in the direction of Brandenburg or take the S-Bahn train line 7 in the direction of Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. From Potsdam Hauptbahnhof train station it is possible to reach us in 5 minutes by foot, by crossing the bridge over the river Havel.
By airplane
Arrival by plane from Tegel Airport: by taxi the journey time is approximately 40-60 minutes. By bus, take the 109 or X9 to the station Berlin Zoologischer Garten and from there take the S-Bahn train line 7 in the direction of Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. From Potsdam Hauptbahnhof train station it is possible to reach us in 5 minutes by foot, by crossing over the river Havel.
By public transportation
