The price for the weekend was excellent - normally the room price is much higher. The hotel is right across the street from the train station. An excellent location for travel. It is within walking distance of Piazza Maggiore, but not particularly close. Overall a good trade-off if you're taking day trips from a Bologna base.

My general experience was positive, although due to the air conditioned getting broken, we had to change to another room on another floor, which was a nuisance. Employees were kind and location is great. But I found the room too small for the price. The bed was huge, but the mattress was very hard. I enjoyed the breakfast but was not included in the price and cost too much. Usually I would not choose this hotel because of the high prices, but I was lucky to get a promotion an paid 100 EUR less than normal price. Otherwise I would never sleep there.

In general, quite good. For disabled, inconvenient shower in a bathtub. Good price, but 'four stars'?

Hotel Mercure is centrally located and very conventient for access to the train station. It would have been helpful to have luggage racks in the room.

Posizione ottima di fronte alla stazione. Attenzione! la colazione non è compresa e costa 10 euro. Albergo senza particolari fronzoli ma pulito, ordinato e buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Very good hotel and perfect location to discover not only Bologna but the other Jewel of The north of Italy like Firenze of Ravenna. Not far from center (20 minutes walk). Price was exceptional for the quality of the room. I don't think I would have found a better stay

It is the perfect location for travelers: right in front of the railway station and very central.

We enjoy to stay in this hotel. In front of rail station, it is very easy to go walking to the center of the city and see the best places (Piazza Maggiore, Torri Asinelli etc). The room was clean, good price/quality = 55euro/night (no breakfast).

Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Hervorzuheben ist ein für italienische Verhältnisse sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbüffet. Wegen seiner Nähe zum Stadtzentrum - 15 Minuten zu Fuß durch Arkaden - empfehlenswert für Urlauber, die die Stadt besichtigen möchten. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen.

L'albergo è molto comodo per chi deve prendere il treno. I dintorni sono quelli tipici di una stazione ferroviaria, ma le camere che danno sul giardino interno sono silenziose. Siamo partiti molto presto la mattina e non abbiamo fatto colazione e quindi non so esprimere un giudizio al riguardo
