Mercure Airport Hotel Berlin Tegel - Berlin

Hotel charges parking 10 euros despite the only thing people can do is to go to the hotel since it's an isolated nice park. Breakfast is extremely expensive 18 euros per person, no champagne or caviar is included though. We needed to write a note to get celan glasses from one night to the other and the top blanket was never even set back to the bed.

Ok for one night. Airport shuttle bus system needs reviewing. Make sure you are ready early as bus is only small and you may have to wait a while.

The Mercure Hotel is an airport hotel and and belongs to the Mercure group of hotels. It is pleasant as airport hotels go. The only drawback is the location. There are no cafes or coffee places to walk to. The only place to eat is the hotel. You are near nothing. You could get a cab to the airport or walk a ways to catch the airport bus to town. The good thing about the hotel is there is a shuttle to the airport when you need to catch your plane. The shuttle was prompt and the driver was courteous. Everyone at the desk was friendly and courteous as well. The quilt on the bed needed to be at least as big as the bed, which it was not. Next time I would ask for another quilt so we could utilize more of the bed space. I got a really good price on this hotel thanks to a special on Venere.com. This was the 3rd trip I have used Venere.com to book rooms.

I had requested a non-smoking room and when I arrived to the hotel none were available, so I had to stay in a room with a very strong smell of smoke. The hotel is convenient because of its proximity to the airport and shuttle service in and from the airport.

This was a incredible experience. It is important to say that the shuttle service from/to Tegel Airport is very good.

Requires a car/taxi for access but provides a fast and comfortable shuttle to and from the airport. Speedy and knowledgeable desk staff, quick room service, nice view over interior and rear garden with easy opening windows. First class morning buffet breakfast. For an air traveler this is an excellent choice.

Good service with transport from and to the airport. They were not very childfriendly and we got some bad looks from the personal when our daughter cried. Unprofessional.

The only problem we had is that we booked two rooms for four people online and when we arrived they said we only booked one room for the lower rate and would have to pay a higher rate for the second room. When we pushed the issue, they said they had made a mistake and gave us the two rooms at the lower "online" rate. Make sure you have a print out of your reservation.

The stay was good, the rooms clean. just to close to the airport the air was full of the smell of the fuel

Travelling with wife. Perfect location at the airport, large well appointed rooms and a super vaule! However, the directions on the web were incorrect and we drove around for 1 hour trying to find it. We finally called the hotel and they gave us perfect directions.

It is a good location for the airport. There was a road closure so the directions we were given ended up being incorrect. The fron desk should have been aware I think. The internet did not work with my laptop- but the staff was very helpful. WOuld stay at again - but if a recreational traveler - Tegal airport is close to Berlin and you can easily stay in the city and get to the airport.

Friendly hotel and very comfortable and good value for an airport hotel. Staff very good. Ring to order the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel.

Everything was just as pictured on the web site. Other than having to have our room key card reactivated twice, our stay was wonderful. The bus stop was just a short walk away and the proximity to the airport and free shuttle to the airport was perfect for us. Thank you.

Visiting the same hotel twice in over a year and a half. First time was great, but the second time was excellent as the hotel has changed so much. I will recommend this to all of my collegue's and obviously I will come back too.

I stayed in many hotels and I want to say that this hotel has really fair/good relationship between price/quality! I would be glad to come back!
