When we came they did not have any document about our reservation. They did not have a clue it could be done over the internet. We were lucky that one room was available. After that everything was fine but it is dissapointing that your reservation can be lost just like that.

Staff was helpful in selecting my room and advising restaurants and a travel agent for my next stop up the coast.

Very good hotel and excellent location. However, our stay was tainted by the fact that the front desk told us breakfast was included with our stay, but we ended up being charged EUR 15 each for a standard continental breakfast. The response from another member of the front desk was this was miscommunicated by his colleague and we had to pay for the meal. VERY POOR SERVICE!!!

The Renaissance was a very lovely modern hotel in a good location near shopping and restaurants. The staff was helpful and we arranged our Pompei and Capri tours through their brochure at the desk. It was lacking a complimentary breakfast like we had in Rome and Florence with our hotels. For the price we paid at the Renaissance we felt they should also offer breakfast. We did however have complimentary coffee/tea on the weekend. Their prices were rather high at their restaurant for breakfast. We discovered a cute little coffee shop nearby. We enjoyed their cocktail lounge after a long day of wonderful sightseeing. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Very good situation in Napoli. The breakfast on the terrace of the 11th floor overlooking Napoli was especially pleasant. It would have been good to be able to book a room on a higher floor. I would ,without hesitation, stay in this hotel again.

Very good modern hotel with very nice public areas and decent sized rooms. As for the surroundings - Naples is probably the only place in Italy which I've been but will never go back to, we just did not feel safe - the hotel can't be faulted though.

Room was very noisy. We could hear the neighbours and the kids. On top of that the service phone in the corridor was ringing very early in the morning. As of the second morning, I just made sure that it would not ring. The people at the reception were just incompetent. It was a pity as it was for our 10th years wedding anniversary. Naples is a nice town and we will remember the town, not the hotel.

Staff at the hotel was extremely helpful; Francesco who worked at the bar and breakfast buffet was very friendly and provided us with excellent service and helpful hints on places to go and things to see. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Napales. The view from the 11th floor is breat taking. Thanks for making this vacation very memorable.

The room had no view and looked into the opposite building. I am unsure whether better rooms are given to guests booking directly. Breakfast average for a 'deluxe' hotel, but view from breakfast terrace fantastic.

A good value for money. The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms more then pleasant and a garage below the hotel a real plus in Naples and in the area of the hotel, which is conveniently located close to the port and near many other tourist locations.

Excellent location for exploring old part of Napoli. Superb view from rooftop restaurant at breakfast. Hotel staff were friendly and professional. Room could have been a bit bigger.

An oasis of calm in a hectic and noisy city. The hotel itself is somewhat impersonal but the staff are friendly and speak English, which is more than most Neapolitans! It was a pity the porter could not show us how to use the room safe and there were no instructions in the main European languages, though we eventually guessed from the Dutch instructions. The views over breakfast in the roof garden are impressive. The hotel is not in the main hotel area, more a commercial one, so there are few nearby restaurants.

This hotel was excelent value, quality/price. Only two problems, we had a service telephone outside of our bedroom door which woke us very early in the morning, also the restaurant didn't have the full menu available and we weren't advised of this until we were about to order. Location of hotel was excellent and I would certainly recommend it.

This hotel not far from the port in Naples and close to the nicer shopping areas was quite lovely. I booked based on the venere.com website and was pleasantly surprised. It was more than a 4 star Hotel. Most everyone spoke English. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The staff quite helpful. Marco in the piano lounge was the nicest and most helpful of all. The terrace view was breathtaking and the breakfast better than most. The hotel is very friendly for English speaking guest and we even had CNN and a movie channel in English., Not to mention a USA today. After being in Sicily and Naples for 9 days these were nice little memories of Home. Naples was a amazing city. We encountered the most gracious Taxi drivers, waiters, shop personnel and pretty much everywhere we went were treated with kindness. We loved our stay at this Hotel and when we go back to Naples will try to stay there. We arrived to early for check in but they found us two very nice rooms because my elderly mother was ill from the 10 hour ferry ride from Palermo. Great staff and great hotel!!!!!

This is a fantastic property. The location is great - 5 mins from the shopping area Via Toledeo, 5 min from the Ferry port and 10 min bus ride to the main railway station. The view from the room overlooking the bay of naples was great. Book the rooms on the higher floor facing the ferry port/sea. Met more than my expectation.

EL HOTEL ES UN OASIS DE MODERNIDAD EN EL CAOS NAPOLITANO. MUY BUENA SITUACION, AL LADO DE VIA TOLEDO, PERO UN POCO DIFICIL DE ENCONTRAR SI LLEGAS EN COCHE PROPIO. UNA PENA QUE EL RESTAURANTE PRINCIPAL CIERRE EN EL MES DE AGOSTO, LA TERRAZA ES PRECIOSA Y LAS VISTAS MAGNIFICAS. CREO QUE ES MUY RECOMENDABLE.

Thank you for Venere.com. Very good Hotel.Clean inside , costs not so expensive. Restaurant has a good scenary, you can eat breakfast with beautiful sea view. Only weakpoint is that breakfast has no hot egg dish and cooking selection is small. But genarally I satisfied it very much. I recommend you this hotel.

My feedback regarding Renaissance Naples Hotel Mediterraneo everything was good but they should upgrade the quality for the breakfast as like other American Hotel with full breakfast not only continental Breakfast and provide sport facility for example: Sauna, Gym etc and my last comment for the employees, they English should be improve.

Good hotel, not a bad location for Naples. Near the historical side of town but not as grotty as the are near the station. Air conditioning was excellent and breakfast on the terrace was a great start to the day.

I asked for a king size bed, I got a twin beds room. Except for that, this hotel is a bit of experience! Cute look, warm colors, and above all, the joy of a breakfst dominating Naples and its Gulf. Very Very Romantic!

Grande struttura. Ottima impressione. Buona posizione.

The hotel was very nice, the staff helpful and the location good. While I didn't care for Naples overall, the hotel was located near the ferry so it was easy to get to the islands and also close enough to the train station not be cost too much money. The roof deck where breakfast is served is beautiful.

Very convenient location for sightseeing, esp., easy to access to the port for Capli or other islands. My memory around the hotel is, a cold hotel (even in August): inside the hotel everywhere was too cool because of the air conditioning (... it'll be a lucky matter at the hotels in Europe...).

The map wasn't correct, so it took us ages to find the hotel. We had to ask someone in the end, just as well we speak some Italian. We also were not given a telephone number so we could not even call the hotel to ask them where they were! At the moment there is some serious work being carried out in the main public area of the hotel. It feels like you are booking into a B+B, not a 4* hotel. The views from the restaurant were good, shame there isn't a bar there too.
