we stayed for 4 nights. we got a very good deal through Venere. the offer from the hotel itself was much higher. if you look for a quiet room better take one facing the garden/pool site. we had a room facing the street, it is quiet when the balcony door is shut. cleanliness of the room is ok, depending on your expectation and standards (our hair dryer handle was ugly sticky and the kleenex I put on it might be still on it). Mellieha itself is a small village and there is not much to do. The Italian restaurant is very good. the free parking means searching a parking place in the village. all together I can recommend the hotel and come back again.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, booked through venere.com, which I would recommend as from the hotel I would have paid the same price per person, instead of per room! The hotel itself is lovely! We stayed in the new adjoined part of the hotel, which is opposite the main building. The room is lovely, very welcoming and smells good, which is alot compared to some hotels! Room service is very good. Hotel surroundings are amazing, the gardens of the hotel are breath-taking and its wonderful for relaxing walks! There s even a gazebo in the middle of nowhere in these gardens, in which u can have a glass of wine in the most relaxed of ways... The pool area is very nice, inc the roof pool. The spa is soo relaxing. Breakfast is abundant and very good. Evening dinner very worthed if you booked for bb, but we chose to eat at Al Ponte Bistro, which is also a hotel restaurant. Absolutely excellent food and great value for money! The bar just opposite, 120 Bar, also has a great atmosphere. I would simply recommend this hotel to anyone who asks, and would definetely go again! Spent one of the most amazing weekends there with my love! :)

We had 2 rooms : One was perfect and the other was very bad: the third bed was a camping bed, the room was really noisy and the smell was awfull (sewer and cigarettes smells). Very good breakfast but the personnel was not very friendly. The garden and the place where the breakfast was served are great. The pizzeria located in the hotel is one of the best of the town to eat simple meals such as pizzas or pastas.

Had a lovely weekend. The hotel has a 'learning curve' for anyone arriving, with a main building (entrance at level 3) and an annex (tunnel link at level 1). The few sea view or the large group of garden view rooms are the better ones, the street can be a bit noisy during day and evening as it's the main Gozo-Valletta route. Our standard room was perfectly adequate, with decent-sized bathroom and nice tea & coffee in the room and small balcony. So were the pools: two outside (garden and rooftop), both unheated, and a small one inside next to the garden. Organisation, again, takes some learning with getting the pool towels at reception (level 3). B'fast was quite decent, with lots of choices and fresh stuff. Friendly reception staff. Adequate hotel for Melieha fans, close to bus stop; beach is 10 mins walking downhill from the town centre which means 20 mins walking back uphill (or taking the bus). Lovely garden.

Hello , We have very enjoyed our stay in Malta at first and at the hotel in particular. The single major problem in Malta is the food. The breakfast served was really cattering , diluted fruit juices, , ham gammon and saucages always the same . eggs each morning at different cookings . no fuits no fish.poor quality of bread and pastries. A lot of porridge, cereals and food of this stuff The dinner buffet was served at 7PM and was of poor quality too ,only super boiled or cooked meat in heavy gravey from English inspiration. Moreover an evening attire was requested . At 8PM was the buffet in each case empty. What is noticeable is the numerous quantity of English with some German lost between them. The second restaurant in front of the hotel had prices difficult to afford and so was always empty. Regarding the third restaurant pizzeria , it was the only one we accepted to visit. Excepted some grilled fish and meat only a festival of pizza, big burgers and a mountain of crisps with ketchup and mayonnaise was available. Allways the same salad was served : a mix of lettuce, tomatoes , cabadge carrots red beets covered with an awful dressing was available. The single alternative was a Italian pasta dish served in so huge quantity that two or three persons could eat on it. If we summarize: quantity , no quality. At the contrary the beer and the wine from Gozzo was a marvel. To compensate,Malta is a fantastic Island to visit for its hitory, monuments, bastions ,museum , archeological sites , churches, everything well attended by gentle people. You visit from 9AM to 18PM . You have hardly the time to visit the two wonderful pools and fitness centre of the hotel. J Decerf

Enjoyed our stay at Maritim and would recommend it highly. We especially liked the location in Malta away from the big cities but still very accessable via bus, taxi. The staff was congenial enough but not necessarily friendly. The breakfast spread was big but not the quality of food I would expect from this type of accomodation. We ate at the pizza place but would not recommend it very highly...just OK. They do have an internet room for a fee which is just fine except it was out of order for a few days and I wanted to check my outgoing flight. I asked the front desk if they could check it on their computer but they said they did not have internet access...funny....I made the hotel reservation over the internet!!! Overall, a great place to stay. The bar and entertainment is nice at night. The new spa is georgous!!!

This was a fantastic hotel. The greeting of the staff was excellent and very informative. The room was lovely, large, well appointed and very clean. I had a beautiful view of the ocean. The hotel facility was very nice, the resturants had excellent food and I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel and on Malta in general. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat. The town was also a wonderful place to stay. It was beautiful, calm and in a great location.
