Go-To Attractions in La Defense
One of the most dramatic and modern landmarks in La Defense is the Grande Arche. Its grand axis is formed by the Arc de Triomphe, the Place de la Concorde and the Champs-Elysees. For a day of shopping, head on over to Les 4 Temps. This shopping mall is large with 230 stores, movie theaters and 40 restaurants. It even has a grocery store. In addition to all the food places at Les 4 Temps, the rue de Bezons has a yummy bakery and Turkish eateries.
Getting Around in La Defense
To get around in La Defense, you can hop on the metro La Defense line 1 or the Esplanade de la Defense line 1. Even though both lines are in zone 3, they can be accessed with a zone 1-2 pass or a T+ ticket. You can also hail a taxi, take a bus or trek to your destination on foot. Many of the hotels are within close proximity of major attractions.
