Cositel hotel convenient location allows you to discover the marvellous Medieval town of Coutances with its superb Gothic cathedral or easily reach famous sites including Mont Saint-Michel, D-Day landing beaches, Bayeux with Queen Mathilda's tapestry, the Caen Peace Museum and the Channel Islands.This property has provided all content and is solely responsible for its accuracy.
My real reservation is that the hotel doesn't feel close to the city of Couances. It's fine if you have a car but more challenging by public transport. It's not easy...

My real reservation is that the hotel doesn't feel close to the city of Couances. It's fine if you have a car but more challenging by public transport. It's not easy to get a taxi at the station and it's difficult to find the hotel on foot until you are sure of the location. It's a good 15-20 minute walk from the Tourist Information Office without luggage. Coutances is very hilly so the walk involves quite a lot of hills. At one point I needed help to get a taxi when I was away from the hotel and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful.

When we arrived there had been a mix up with Venere and they didn't have a room for us. They did everything they could to help us and in the end had a cancellation and put us in the Suite for the same price we had been quoted from Venere. The hotel has a nice outdoor area and is a 10 minute walk to the center of town. We would stay there again. Good value and very helpful staff.
