The Leonardo Hotel München City Center is located in the center of Munich near the main railway station Munich HBF, offering its guests excellent links to the airport and all the city's famous monuments and tourist attractions. The hotel is the ideal base to discover the vibrant city of Munich during a holiday or a business trip in Bavaria.

Modernity and comfort!

The Leonardo Hotel München City Center is a modern and central complex ideal for visitors wanting to explore the city of Munich and the surrounding areas. Situated in a quiet side street off Bayerstrabe, this Munich city center hotel offers quiet and calmness away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Easily accessible from the Alps!

This Munich Hotel is a good base from which to start a trip to the Alps with some of the most scenic countryside and woodlands around. Germany's third largest city, Munich is the most coveted city to live in amongst polled Germans. There is much more to see in the city of Munich than its famous Oktoberfest beer festival. The city has an amazing reputation for its arts and scientific past and still remains Germany's main city for the development of a consistent number of famous writers and artists who have made it their home or were born here.

Technical Genius!

The Deutsches Museum or German Museum is one of the largest technical museums in the world and one of the most popular in Germany. The museum boasts of a number of hands on interactive installations that are suitable for all the family. Exhibits focus on everything from natural science, engineering and construction to aerospace engineering. The museum also features a number of temporary exhibits on different topics; for example an exhibit on Favourite Technologies of the 1950s or a drawing exhibit focusing on children's takes on climate change. The museum gives visitors the option to book guided tours of the Deutsches Museum but these tours are mostly given in German, so guests at the museum might feel more inclined to stroll around the complex at their own leisure.

When in Bavaria!

When on your vacation in Munich why not take some time out to visit Bayerisches Nationalmuseum? One of Europe's major art and cultural museums, the subject matter featured focuses on Southern Germany and in particular the region of Bavaria. This wonderful and enchanting museum looks at Bavarian folk art and has many impressive wood sculptures and carvings from the 15th century. One whole room of the museum is dedicated to this subject. As many of the exhibit descriptions are in English, the national museum is an enjoyable experience for natives and holidaymakers. Bayerisches Nationalmuseum also features exhibits on porcelain, silver, musical instruments and games. The museum has a nice gift shop and quaint café so you could make a day out of your visit to the Bayerisches Nationalmuseum.

Summer Residence with a 7,000 seater beer garden!

The majestic Nymphenburg Palace was home to the great Bavarian Wittelsbach dynasty for centuries. They used to spend the summer at the palace and its magnificent parkland in the heart of Nymphenburg. The palace has now become a tourist destination, with holidaymakers coming from far and wide to view its amazing Rococo interiors and Wittelsbach family collectables. The surrounding gardens make for a relaxing and peaceful afternoon stroll and the nearby Hirschgarten beer garden with its 7,000 plus capacity is the perfect spot to sample some ice cold Bavarian beer.

In the heart of the city!

The pretty Gothic period red and white building is the setting for the city center museum of Munich or The Munich Stadtmuseum. The City Museum offers visitors an insight into the colorful and diverse history of Munich. The versatile collection of the museum appeals to all ages. Guests looking for dining options can find several restaurants, bars and cafés within a short walk of the hotel. There are also a variety of dining options on site - breakfast served every day, a bistro complete with a conservatory, and a sports bar.

12 or 15 euro for breakfast is unsuitable when you have no way of telling quality to expect. it does not cater for those who like a light breakfast so an individually priced well-indicated (visual display) of menu needed/

Nice hotel, very close to the train station. walking distance to metro. Unfortunately the air conditioning is inferior. You have to leave your windows open at night to cool off. There is a youth hostel across the street, so it gets very loud at times.

The hotel was a mixed-bag. The party I was with booked 3 rooms, 2 Superoir Suites & 1 double room. I had got the double room & despite the protests of the guy behind the desk, when I was checking in, that I was single & on my own & STILL required a double room, I faired the best out of all of us. The Superior Suite was only marginally bigger than my double room, with a much bigger bathroom (if you need it) & my other friend who had also booked a Superior Suite ended up with a single-room, which was so small it could've been a broom cupboard, ended up paying double what I did, because I'd pre-paid. Despite the rooms, the hotel was clean, very modern & within minutes walk from the main train station which links everything & everywhere in Munich. Munich is a great city, would I go back, definitely. Would I stay in this hotel, probably not, as despite the fact I faired best of all of us, it was over-priced for what it was.

The price on internet was correct, with the exception of the breakfast what was not included. Little tricky to think about booking next time directly to the hotel.

This is a new hotel. The location is quite convenient. It is quiet. Though near to the train station, we did not hear any noise at night in the 3 nights we stayed. Also because it is new, really new, no travel info is provided. A tour info center can be found easily outside the train station.

No curtains (Frontdesk: "due to Hoteldesigner!"); many technical Problems (ventilation in the Bathroom runns the whole Night due to technical Problems, Carpet came loose, the door dosn't close, etc.; poor Service (Wakeupcalls dosn't work, Taxicall take 15 Min., Checkout takes 20 Min. waitingtime due to Shortstaffed, etc.); Doublebed just 140cm (Frontdesk: "that ist Standard")!! From my point of view to expensive for this Class in this Area and specialy that poor Service!
