We wanted to stay and relax in the hotel during Christmas. However, we found out that the restaurant (for dinner) was closed during this period. Nothing was mentioned on introduction/reservation page on internet. Indeed it was mentioned as good gourmet place. Menus were still in front of the restaurants when we arrived. It was a shock in last minute. It was difficult to find place nearby to eat. We had to go out although our plan was stay in the hotel. Therefore we did not achieve our orijinal target.

A very good Hotel good value for money. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Hotel was 10 minutes walk from station but very convenient if you were in a car. The weather was very hot and the rooms were air conditioned which was perfect. Only 10 minutes travel to the centre of Cologne and the Cathederal.

By car
From A3 highway, exit at the highway junction Köln-Ost, taking the city ring road towards Köln Zentrum, or city center. Exit at Köln-Buchforst.

By train
From the main railway station, take the city express train line S6 or S11 to the Köln-Buchforst stop.

By airplane
From the airport of Cologne/Bonn the hotel is reachable in about 15 to 20 minutes by taxi. Alternatively, you may take the airport bus line 170 to the railway station Deutz/Messe and then the line 3 in the direction of Thielenbruch to the Waldecker Strasse stop.
