For the price this hotel can't be beat. It's not too far from public transportation or from the historic sites.

Nice place to stay. In a walking distance from many interesting points of the city, but not in the noisy center. The hotle is located in a quiet street and rooms are facing a park on one side. Excellent stay, the breakfast is also nice (I don't understand previous evaluation on the subject) even if a little bit expensive (12 euros). I recommand it.

Instead of paying for the 12 € for the hotel breakfast, the best option is a coffee shop on the square near by. Coming out of the Ramada to the left there is a square with a playing kids area, you go straight through and you find the coffee shop. Service is really nice, breakfast very good and for less the 6 €.

We loved the neighborhood...close to trolly and metro with the added attraction of a "lived in" street. The street in front of the hotel was a single lane with cafes and planting...people with babies and dogs. Friendly and safe..a park nearby for kids. The staff was knowledgeable. We got advice about the famous baths, the public transportation and places to eat. We did NOT take the expensive breakfast but there were lots of cafes nearby. We also opted for the superior double on the 6th floor with lots of room, operable windows with a quiet view of the interior park. All in all a wonderful stay.

Small room with 2 beds and small bathroom with shower, but clean and quiet. The Hotel is placed in the 9th district of Budapest, city centre is far 3 stops of metro, that is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Or you can walk for about 30 minutes to reach the city centre. The breakfast's not included in the quote and is expensive (12 euro, about 3.000 HUF - for the same price you can have breakfast at famous Gerbeaud, in Vorosmarty Teré :-) We were traveling by car and the hotel has a safe underground garage, also not included in the quote.

Rooms were a bit small. Breakfast was not included and cost 17 Euros, which is way too much for breakfast. The rooms weren't very quiet either - The first night we arrived at 5am and we heard somebody making noise in the hallway while getting ready to sleep. The hotel was also far from the city center (20-30 min walk). Considering the price though, it wasn't that bad.

I liked this hotel very much. It was clean, modern and in a very "local" and hip part of Budapest. The only problem in the room is that the lighting was very poor in both the room and private bath.

Very near Raday street, great places to have dinner. Don't have breakfast at the hotel! Any little cafe in Budapest has great breakfast and coffee.

The room was way to small. Usage of TV was charged. The hotel is barely accessible by car. And the private hotel parking is too expensive. At least there was free WLAN in the rooms.

The staff was incredibly helpful and cordial. The hotel is about 20-30 minute walk from city center, but it was nice not to be staying at a touristy street and you're minutes away from lively streets. Definitely recommended.

This was our first time in Budapest and we had an enjoyable time. The pictures of the hotel rooms are accurate, just deceptive. Breakfast wasn't included and found that it was a little expensive to pay on our own (€15 per person I believe) so we elected to walk around in the mornings and find breakfast that way. There's a grocery store around the corner and even couple of bakeries (a McDonalds for those of you truly desperate).

Excellent value for £ We walked to quite a few places: once you get your bearings it is quite a central location. the reception staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful, even when we arrived before the official check in time. Would certainly recommend.

I recomend this hotel because it has a good location. It is not far from the subway station that is located 4 blocks from it. Also there is a tram station 2 blocks far away for it. You can reach everything from there. The rooms a big enough and they are very clean. Also the bathroom has everything that you need. The people who work at the front desk are very kind. I would like to go back there. It is located in a quiet area so you can rest pretty good.

Probably it was my mistake but I was sure that in my reservation breakfast was included. Anyway, even if it was my mistake,it's incredible that, when you go to have the breakfast, staff asks your room number (to check if it is included or not) and don't tell you that price for breakfast is 15 € for person! We paid 30 € for 2-3 croissants, some eggs, some sausages and terrible coffee...more than for a dinner with wine! I find correct they advice about this! This is only important thing for what I complain, the rest is fantastic

We were unexpectedly upgraded to a nice superior room on 6th floor, really huge! Price seemed attractive, but breakfast is not included and extremely expensive for Budapest standards (15 euros per person!): this fact is not immediately evident in the hotel description. Guests enjoy one free mineral water bottle per person per day: a nice idea.

This hotel is a disaster. The rooms are ridiculously small yet they tried their best to make the decor "hip". There was no room to turn. The breakfast was not included in the rate. The location really was a bit far away from everything..The "air conditioner" was more like a fan situated right on top of the ceiling towards the bed. We had a nice breeze blowing in our faces, but we could not turn it off since it was too hot. The toilet broke..hmm what else..noisy drunk people politely woke us up every morning at five. Don’t go!

This hotel was spacious and comfortable. The room was HUGE and offered us a great price. It felt very western and had alot of tourists, so I'm not sure we got an authentic Hungarian experience. But compared to typical European hotels, the room was clean and luxurious. It was a bit far from the main attractions, but close enough to the subway. I'd certainly stay there again.

The only complaint i have is when we first arrived at the Budapest Ramada Hotel, the room we were shown to was very small, a twin room as requested. But, for a small fee we were upgraded to a suite for the week. These suites are not advertised on the initial site.

The Ramada Budapest was beautifully located near Central Pest. Breakfast was not included in our room price (didn't realize this at the time of booking) & I was quoted a price of 15 Euros, which is very high for breakfast. Dinner in the restaurant was very good & reasonably priced.

This is NOT a "value for money" hotel. It is clean with a modern look, and meets the minimum of what you'll expect from a 4-star hotel. However the rooms are small (the with of the room equals the with of the double bed). If you bring two suitcases you end up stepping over one of them no matter where you put it. Mind the price for breakfast-buffet, 15 euro, that is what you normally pay for a nice dinner in Budapest- and this hotel has little that justifies such a price. The resturant is also slightly over-priced. We moved to a more spacious, lower-standard hotel two blocks down the road after just one night in Ramada Hotel. Ramada wanted to charge us for one extra night (even though we checked out in good time before check-out time) when we said we'd decided to cancel the rest of our stay. However, they let us leave without penalties...the pre-reservation on our visa card was not cancelled until we got home, though. The location of the hotel is also a bit to far from the centre- you will always depend on public/private transport no matter where you go. Therefore you just might as well go to a nicer hotel further away from the city centre (but close to a metro). To conclude: we will defenitely not come back next time we go to Budapest.
