The hotel is next to the most beautiful places of roma and he is positioned in the most beautiful zone in the city that is " Villa Borghese - Parioli" Enchanting!!

My girlfriend & I went to the Aldrovandi palace for a long weekend. I picked the hotel myself because the pictures looked nice and it had a few good reviews. I just want to say 1st that the pictures dont do this hotel justice. It is such a beautiful hotel in tip top condition. The concierge is the first to welcome you & is always to help in any way he can. The people in reception are always in great condition & very friendly & helpful too. The rooms a lovely & modern. There is even a TV in the mirror in the bathroom. Very handy! Every evening we came back the sheets were turned down & slippers by the bed & the breakfast the next morning was lovely too. Great hotel, i'd definitely return!

We stayed at Aldrovandi Palace in early May of this year ('07). The hotel is beautiful, though a little shabby, even though our room was in the "recently renovated" area of the hotel & we were told by hotel staff that the rooms were much nicer than those that had not been renovated. Not what we expected considering the rate, 5 star rating & the fact that it's one of The Leading Hotels of the World. We were also disappointed that the only breakfast offered was a huge buffet at 53 Euros per person & there was no other place close to get breakfast. But our biggest problem with the hotel was that the shower/bath was possibly the worst we've ever experienced. It had rust stains, the built-in mirror was damaged, the hand-held shower head was cracked & had mineral deposits so it sprayed water right at you, the overhead shower had mineral deposits & sprayed all over, &, on top of it all, the bathtub drain would not close. The worst ever! Also about the bathroom: when we first arrived there was one of those "Guaranteed Sanitized" banners across the toilet seat, but when it was removed there was pee on the toilet seat! Very funny. However, the neighborhood was upscale, beautiful & quiet which made its rather long distance from the sites well worth the taxi rides. The hotel's complimentary hourly shuttle to the Spanish Steps helped a lot & the hotel staff was extremely helpful & friendly. In spite of the lovely staff, I don't think we would stay there again.

Surprisingly enough, breakfast was not included in the room rate. The hotel is lovely, elegant, professionally run. However, it is somewhat out of the way, an advantage in Rome if you want to get out of the chaos for a moment, but isolated with respect to transport into the city even though two trolley lines run in front of the hotel. We found a bottle of champagne, a bowl of fruit, and cookies to welcome us to the room...a very nice touch though we don't consume alcohol (would have preferred the included breakfast). However, the thought was appreciated.

From the airport: take the GRA (big ring road around Rome) direction Salaria and exit at Salaria (exit no.8) direction Roma Centro-Parioli. Follow Via Salaria for about 7-8 kilometres until you reach Viale Liegi crossing. Once there turn right into Viale Liegi and drive to Piazza Ungheria square, following the tram-line. Then turn left into Viale Rossini and then right into Via Aldrovandi street where lies Aldrovandi Palace - Leading Hotels.

The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. Check-in: the rooms are available from 2 p.m. We kindly ask guests to communicate their estimated time of arrival.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than midday.

Parking is included in the price.
The airport shuttle service is not included in the price and costs €95,00 one way (the fee will be charged to your hotel bill). A 10% extra charge will apply for services provided between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
The courtesy shuttle service to Rome's city centre is free of charge.
Breakfast is not included in the price and costs €27,00 + VAT.

CANCELLATION POLICY
For late cancellations/no shows first night stay will be charged on client's credit card.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 2 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
