It was a really nice short stay in Vienna - I would really recommend the Le Meridien.

Das moderne, schön eingerichtete Hotel liegt in wirklich bester Lage Wiens. Shopping, Oper, Konzerthaus oder Dom: Alles ist fußläufig bequem zu erreichen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Eine Vielzahl von Angestellten erfüllt unaufdringlich jeden Wunsch. Was will man mehr?

I had booked a double room with king size bed. The room assigned to me was very small. The bed was so small that was almost impossible to sleep in for a single person...imagine for two. I asked to change the room but there were no more avaible. So it has been changed the day after, for an higher cathegory, deluxe room, queen size bed, and paying a difference. The parquet of the room was dirty. The system of the shower is absurd...the water goes all around the bath-room. The minibar - that is free - was very miserably furnished. The lobby-bar was very expensive: more then 10 € for a vodka tonic....even in London i never paid so much... First and last time at Le Meridien...

the concierge staff were inexperienced and inefficient and 3 out of the 4 times I required their services I had to wait anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes... also did not return request to call back... doormen were better informed than concierge, more helpful, more accurate directions and friendlier... we stayed in a corner room which was very quiet and just spacious enough; however the housekeeping was deplorable... never replenished in full the mini bar, forgot to replace towels, kleenex, shampoo and toiletrie amenities on an ongoing basis; however staff in restaurants although inexperienced were quite friendly, tried their best and this was appreciated; front desk staff were lacklustre and as stated above the concierge service by all definition were deplorable... If someone were to ask me whether it was worthwhile to save a few dollars and stay at the Meridien vs. the Imperial or other nearby Starwood property I would definitely suggest to stay at either one of the alternative upper end Starwood Properties... the Meridien in Vienna was definitely a poor man's W....with no E for effort... Sorry... that's the way I see it !

The Ultra modern decor of the Bar and Resturant were most unwelcoming however it should not put you off staying here as the position and nearness to other bars and resturants mean you dont have to use them.

Very nice place to stay very near to the Opera.Modern Hotel with a super bed and stunning "design" bath room....beautiful but less practical. Very good restaurant.

SEhr schönes Hotel in sehr guter Lage. Schöne Zimmer, schöne Lobby, schöner Welnessbereich. Nicht ganz billig, aber halt auch 5 Sterne.

Fabulous Hotel...our room was excellent. We dined in the hotel restaurant and the meal was outstanding as was the service.

Designer heaven and ideally located. Room quite small. Furnishings, especially the bed, uncomfortable. Restuarant and bar prices too high.

Administration of hotel was a deasaster. Did not change rooms booked in one name to the name of the person registring at check in. Consequently, when room key was requested, names not found. Happened again on second day. Finally, all room bills were issued in the name of one other party in our group but not to one who made reservation. Pure chaos! not experienced in extensive travel globally.

Th position of the hotel is perfect for a vacation. Most landmark are at walk-distance. The welness area was not as expected

My only comment is that the reastaurant may try to make things more difficult then they really have to be. This "crossoverfood" that they have the ambition to make doesnt work all the way. I am very used with kitchens from all over the world and I have nothing against trying new tastes but....my advice is go back to basics :)

I loved the location and the ambience of the hotel. The bed and bathroom were extremely comfortable. all the amenitites were great as was the location. The Concierge team was excellent at getting us some tickets for the evenings etc. The only improvements I would recommend is more PC access and my non-smoking room definitely smelled of smoke on occasion. Maybe there is a ventilation problem. When I asked the front desk, they offered to send someone up to spray some room freshener. Really not the answer. Otherwise, loved the stay! Recommend and would return.

Smashing hotel. Exceeded my expectations - internet photos don't do it justice. Will definitely go back some time and would recommend the hotel to anyone as guests were a mixed bunch which is nice. Restaurant menu looked out of this world and only regret is didn't have time to have dinner there as had booked elsewhere. Dinner at E47 for five courses excellent value. Ten out of ten.

Location is very convenient. The personnel is very friendly and professional. Breakfast is good. Time to time there was some irritating noise in the room.

Very good,however I think that a five star hotel should have no smoking restaurant and bar available. This let the hotel down significantly. One smoker ruins my enjoyment. I know smokers say "what of free choice?" My reply - "what of MY free choice?"! Also the bar opened at 1500! Why? I like many people enjoy a drink at mid-day when relaxing.

This hotel is very good for us, although the interior is felt to be too modern. For some people, this "too modern" may become a problem. Breakfast is reasonable and good. We will stay in this hotel, when we visit this city again.

First after entering the room I was annoyed by the size of the bed: although I did order a double room I recognized, that the bed's width was only 120cms. It was the same single room I had stayed in before. As I was not on a wedding trip I asked for another room and finally received it after a long discussion. Afterwards I found out, that the highspeed-internet connection did not work and - as I had a lot of mails to read - I asked the staff to fix the problem. They found out that the LAN infrastructure was not proper configurated and promised me to fix it immediately. Even after several reminders and promises to solve the problem, nothing happened during my 4 days stay and I was not able to receive or send mails. The room was located at the side of the Opernring and the noise from both traffic and construction work was terrible

Great hotel in a perfect location. Extremely quiet rooms!

Very nice, very modern hotel; terrific location; excellent concierge service; a price bargain compared with nearby hotels like the Bristol and Imperial. Breakfast buffet us no bargain - 26 Euros per person for a nice buffet, with no a la carte alternative and no cold buffet (i.e., without eggs and cooked breakfast meats) puts it out of reach for all but the expense account crowd, especially with some great coffee shops within a block or two. That was the only negative note for an otherwise fine hotel.

In one of the most beautilful Cities in Europe - Vienna this hotel was a bit out of place - extremely modern, which is not to my liking, other then that was very good

The hotel is newly refurbished, comfortable, and in an outstanding location. Some may not feel at ease with some furniture and decor features, but all in all it is a very good choice. Strongest points: Supportive staff and unique bed matresses! Weakest point: Breakfast not included in price quoted, and rather on the high side! (more than 55 US$ per couple)
