The hotel was the first of the Lingotto accomodations to be completed and opened. It is still a good structure, but maintenance and updating is starting to become necessary. The carpeting in the hallways is frayed and some of the bathrooms need updating. Not all rooms have internet access, those who do have ethernet only (no wifi!) or 56k (!!!). Ethernet access is not included in the price of the room. I find this disconcerting for a business hotel in 2009.

Nice Hotel that's a bit too content with it's less-than-superb ambitions. Too expensive for the level of service provided. 200+ euro/night for single and then a 21euro/day charge for internet!!?! Lobby is wireless but it's also a seperate pay-to-access service not run by the hotel. Relatively quiet/ie "dead" atmosphere. Slightly indifferent service. (front desk not always manned, bellman is "around"...somewhere, no explanation of amenities. I never did find the Gym?? Rooms are large and well appointed. Main lobby is sparse in a 1980's kind of way. Floor lobbies are anemic and characterless. Surroundings are safely coorporate. However, Architects will love the location. The FIAT Bldg is far more interesting than anything contained within it. (American style generic Shopping Mall, Muti-Screen Cinema, Food Court, Broken escalators, Clumps of teen smokers outside every door.) Be sure to ask for the key to the roof to get to the former test track! In Summation: You'll have a good stay but probably not a memorable one. No reason to come back unless you just have to.

Interessante Lage in ehemaliger Fiat-Fabrik. Sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit Aussicht auf Alpenpanorama. Etwas ausserhalb der City gelegen (6 km) aber kostenloser Shuttleservice am Abend. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

since both Le Meriden hotels are within a few metres, it would be adviseable to differentiate between the 2, and as for parking, it was difficult to find and to locate one property..but once we arrived all was more than expected, the breakfast buffet was way above average, and the dinner in the dining room was excellent.

We were upgraded to a suite on arrival as there was a business conference being held at hotel. Smokers were crowded around the front entrance which made it difficult for us to gain entry to hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself was very difficult to find for guests arriving by car. Parking was scarce due to conference. Our suite was very spacious and clean with good location to shopping mall. Hotel restaurant was excellent though pricey.

An unusually professionally run hotel. Although at the high end of the price range the service and facilities did reflect this. Genuinely friendly staff who were efficient at their duties and all spoke English well. The local roads up to 3km from the hotel need some signs to guide customers in as the tortuous one way systems caused some confusion trying to find the hotel even with a good map! The local shopping centre, restaurants and automobile museum are all within walking distance and worth noting.

This hotel has all the qualities that you should expect from a 4*, and more, the rooms are spectacular, the hotel architecture (old Fiat building), provides you with a more than adequate atmosphere for the city you're in (Torino), they only have one thing to improve (just a little) is the breakfast, but anyway is a wonderful breakfast.

This is essentially a hi-tech commercial hotel constructed in the old FIAT property at Lingotto. It is part of a clever redesign/reuse of the area and is within 50 meters of a major shopping mall. However, I believe it would be fair to say that it is not a center city hotel, as it is quite a distance from the center of Turin.

I was very impressed with your service. American Express was not able to reserve rooms at this hotel, but Venere was successful. We were also upgraded to the 5 star hotel Art e Tech. It was excellent.

Very nice hotel, spacious rooms and good quality restaurant. Nice feature on the rooftop - the old Fiat testing track.

This hotel is by far the best for the price. The rooms are quiet and twice the size of any other room we stayed in (7 in all). This is the place to stay in Torino.

A beautiful hotel, great rooms, service, facilities etc. If you had to make any criticism it would be that it is a little distance from the city centre, however there is public transport out front - STAY HERE!

Really enjoyed our stay there- the room was wonderful and the whole building fascinating to see, especially the former Fiat car test track on the roof. Breakfast was good and the service fine. Can recommend this hotel and would definitely return.
