Hotel Le Meridien Nice - Nice

The barman Michael make me a horrible "mojito". The price was astronomic. The room was absolutelly angost. Bellboys friendly and smart. That is the only positive impression. It was the fourth time in last 12 years using The Meridien - Nice, I think it is definitevely deteriored. No more of three stars.

The hotel has a public parking in front which is ok but expensive (20 euros/day). Rooms are ok but high temperature and low humidity create some problems for good sleeping, also pillows are not very friendly

I have been three times in Nice. The staff at Hotel Meridien Nice is very nice.

clean, updated interior, warm & professionals at the desk. No WiFi anywhere in the hotel a negative. (business center available off the lobby for a fee ...10 euro/30 min, as I recall.) Here are two "heads up" to those that this might have meaning or usefulness...EuropCar rental company is just 50 or so steps away from the front door. McDonald's is even closer...that info is NOT given as a point of food interest but, tah dah...to give you an unadvertised tip of the free WiFi! Location in city is good for walking in all directions. It is directly on the water (with a busy street between hotel & the beach itself) there are many safe and easy crossings with lights to get to the other sided. So many restaurants nearby it would be impossible to count or mention. Though there is a stand of taxis out the front door of the hotel the desk clerk recommended taking the city bus that stops around the corner from the hotel (about 40 food steps from the front door). The ride is about 5 stops, 30 minutes to the airport....cost 4 euro compared to 30 euro in taxi. This hotel is an excellent choice. I would certainly stay here again.

I'm not disapointed by my stais but I have to indicate that I paid 60 euros per day to obtain a room newly furnished

The price of the breakfast was way too expensive for what you got.As it was our honeymoon they upgraded us to a superior room which was 425euro through the hotel. I paid 200euro. Excellent place , would definately stay there again.

We were given a awful room with a pull down bed, I asked to be changed and we were, the second room was just ok. For the price you would expect a lot more, as I stayed in the same hotel in Vienna and there was no comparison

I don't know if it was because we got such a good rate on this website, but our room was awful. We saw other rooms in the hotel, and they were considerably nicer. Ours was actually terrible. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Excellent location, very central. Nice pool deck. Very clean and spacious bathrooms. Close to taxi rank & car rental. Walking distance from various restaurants.

Very friendly staff. Tastefull modern design of room. Excellent central location of Hotel.

Room located at the 9th floor. The room painting is a bit old... needs to be refreshed. Moreover, the terrace is nice but in winter, you would need a bathrobe to stay on it (for this price, we expected to have one but it is not the case)

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and found it's location to be perfect! Very close to the market, restaurants, bars, and the beach. The deluxe sea-view room seemed a little on the small side but they have a great rooftop pool and bar which was nice. Overall we were happy with the facility and the staff.

The Meridien was a wonderful Hotel and the staff was very gracious. Shopping was very close and my wife purcahsed quite a few items. The location of the Hotel was great and the veiw from the roof top pool of the ocean was magnificient.
