The offer on Venere website is very attractive however, this is only because prices are quoted without breakfast. The reality is that the hotel assumes every guest takes breakfast: for those reservations without, upon check-in the hotel requires an acceptance statement to be signed in which the customer is charged for breakfast and Internet. There is no control about who takes breakfast in the morning in the restaurant while Internet is available free of charge at the library. The entire staff while constantly smiling does not seem to understand English very well. Personnel is predominantly very young and seems to be left without any supervision from experienced head of departments. We experienced quite a number of unpleasant situations including the hotel alarm clock who went off at 7h3 a.m. the day of our departure (we never touched it nor used it) A way to encourage clients to leave early enough on their departure date...? Nevertheless, the location of the hotel is fantastic and deserves to be recognized. More efforts are required from the hotel management to improve the quality of their services.
