We did hav a very nice stay at your hotel,from the 16. to 24th of october, but I was dissapointed not to get the ocean view as I had mailed about the wish. As it now were out of season and the hotel had a lot of available rooms at the sea side, I do think it was not an accomidating attitude that we met from your 'deskmanager'. I also wish to mention that it is the first time that I had to pay for the ordinary hotel facilities as - swimmingpool, towel at the beach, chair at the beach etc. Otherwise i was very satisfyed with the stay at the hotel. This hotel looked gorgeous from the pictures but in reality it was tired and needed a serious facelift. It was way overpriced for the quality and you were required to pay extra for everything such as beach chairs (17 euro) and parking (20 euro per day). The hotel staff was rude. I'm not sure if the rooms were dirty or just old; the bathroom tiles seemed to have dirt in the cracks, the carpets were stained and the linens were not comfortable. The pillows especially were awful and we woke up with massive neckaches. I would never stay there again.

First stay at Le Meridien. Standard of service from staff was very good as expected from a 4 star hotel. Hotel was disappointing - over priced for a clean room with shabby and dated decor. Very disappointed that no balcony provided and window looked out onto a gloomy internal courtyard. No swimming pool - the indoor pool was an additional charge and children were not allowed to use it. It was also closed part of the day. Almost all amentities were an extra charge e.g. pool, gym, breakfast, car parking (extortionate!)The small strip of beach had loungers regimentally packed side by side which didn't create a feeling of luxury. Food and drink very expensive. I would not recommend this hotel as it did not offer value for money and I would not return.

Ok, we knew it was the low season and not much would be open, but did not expect that Meridien would have slashed their maintenance budget so much. It was probably due to their impending sale to Starwood. But, the poor staff had to suffer with the issues: moldy bathroom that smelled badly, TVs that wouldn't work, door locks that wouldn't work - all maintenance issues. The staff were wonderful. We truly enjoyed their pleasant greetings and helpfulness. If you fixed the place up, we'd stay there again.
