Hotel molto comodo per posizione centralissima e vicina alle metropolitane ed a penn station. La camera era un po' piccola e filtravano rumori dal vicolo ma in compenso dalla finestra si vedeva il retro dell' empire state building...! ;) colazione continentale discreta, spazi comuni piccoli, pulizia della stanza ok, soggiorno tutto sommato piacevole.

TOURISTIC OCCASION WITH MY WIFE.THE ROOM N°318 WAS SMOKE SMELLING AND HEATER IN FAILURE.WE HAD THE ROOM CHANGED,THE NEW N°208 CLEAN,THE HEATER VERY NOISY,THE ROOM WITH WINDOW IN INTERNAL COURTYARD BUT ABSOLUTELY QUIET.AT 20 MT. FROM 5TH AVE AND 1 BLOCK FROM EMPIRE STATE BUILDING,EXELLENT LOCATION FOR TOURISTIC WALKING AND SHOPPING.IN CASE OF FUTURE NEW PERSONAL VISITS TO NEW YORK I WILL GET RESERVATION AGAIN.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the heart of downtown with a really fair price. Breakfast was even included and it was very good. For sure I will stay there again. The only negative thing to mention is the very noisy and not very efficient heating system.

For us this hotel met our needs, a value for money ( for New York) hotel with subway station and buses easily accessible. It was also close to Empire State Building. Breakfast facilites were simple,"continental style", but more than ample in quantity.32 St.is "Little Korea" so immediate restauraunts all one type but there were others within walking distance. We would stay there again, particularly if again in upper/rear room away from street level.

Excellent location, next to Empire State Building. Easy to reach by bus, subway nearby. Penn station also close by and Grand Central not too far.

The concierge service at the hotel charged a $30 per ticket surcharge to secure tickets to an off Broadway show for us. I learned later you can get these tickets for a 30 to 40% discount buying from ticket booths around town. Then, they delivered obstructed view seats that were $10 less per ticket than what we paid for! The hotel washed their hands of the whole thing and said they don't run the gift shop or the concierge service. I think the hotel should be ashamed of themselves for not taking responsibility for the unethical concierge service operating in their lobby. I can't recommend this hotel to anyone.

At the La Guardia Airport/Triboro Br/Grand Central Pkwy sign follow the motorway Grand Central Pky for 3.1 km. At the Long Island/Midtown Tun/Li Expwy sign follow the motorway I-495 for 12.8 km. At the 34 St/Downtown/35 St/38-40 Sts/37 St sign turn right and follow Queens Midtown Tunnel Exit. Turn right onto E 34th St and then right again onto Madison Ave. Turn finally left onto W 32nd Street and follow along until you reach the hotel.
From LaGuardia International Airport follow Ditmars Boulevard for 127 m then turn right and follow Astoria Blvd N for 251 m. At the Staten Island (I-278 W) sign follow the motorway Brooklyn Queens Expy E for 1.4 km. At the Northern Blvd sign follow the motorway I-278 for 4 km. At the Li Expwy/Midtown Tun/Eastern Li(I-495)/Greenpoint Ave follow the motorway I-495 for 5 km. Then at the 34 St/Downtown/35 St/38-40 Sts/37 St sign turn right, and follow Queens Midtown Tunnel Exit. Turn right onto E 34th St and then right again onto Madison Ave. Turn finally left onto W 32nd Street and follow along until you reach the hotel.
From Newark International Airport follow the signs for Garden State Parkway/Clinton/New Jersey Turnpike(I-95)/Holland Tunnel/New York City and take motorway I-78 for 2.3 km. At the Exits 15E-18E(I-80)/Lincoln Tunnel (US-46) sign turn right and follow the motorway I-95 for 11.7 km. At Lincoln Tunnel sign follow the motorway Rt-495 for 2.2 km. At the JFK Blvd sign turn right and follow S Marginal Hwy for 350 m. Follow the motorway Rt-495 for 2.5 km. Turn right and follow the motorway I-495 for 300 m, then turn left and follow W 32nd Street until you reach the hotel.

By train
The Grand Central Station is 10 blocks north-east of the hotel. Take the green underground line (4,5,6) until the stop on E 33rd St, then walk 3 blocks west to W 32nd Street, where the hotel lies.
From Pennsylvania Station walk two blocks north to W 32nd Street. The hotel lies between Fifth Avenue and Avenue of the Americas.

By airplane
From JFK International Airport take the New York Airport Service Express Bus for Midtown Manhattan/West Side until Pennsylvania Station, then follow the indications above. You can also take the Super Shuttle Manhattan, which offers a shared door to door service to any address in Manhattan, including all hotels.
