We were disappointed with the overall feel and look of this La Quinta because the daily rate was only slightly less expensive (5-10 dollars) than the other higher end hotels in the area such as the Holiday Inn Express and a smaller Marriott. I regret not saying the weekend at the Marriott since this La Quinta was very old (needs a major makeover!). The bathtub/shower needed a good scrubbing because it was grimy and dingy! The walls throughout the room were dirty with stains that a simple wipe down would probably solve. The bedspread was dingy and in some areas had holes in it because it was old and so worn out! The room did not have a microwave or fridge. The swimming pool was also dirty. This La Quinta needs a facelift and should not charge more than that of a Motel 6 until the whole facility is fully renovated inside and out.
