Town center is too far away!The name "Hotel Kyriad Tours Centre" suggests something closer to the center.

We found the hotel was further from the central Tour's Railway station than originally thought going on the internet maps. Certainly a taxi was required when traveling with several suitcases. Taxi fare was E8.50. Without the burden of luggage it was 15 minutes walk to the railway station and 16 minutes to the tourist office. We walked to the main square in the old town in 30 minutes from the hotel. Hotel staff were very helpful and spoke good understandable english. Rooms were of a good size, the ensuit was very clean and more than adequate in size. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet and easily accessible from the lift. The best part was the great breakfast. Scrambled and boiled eggs, great juice, cheese, good coffee and plenty of bread and rolls. The abundance of choice at breakfast meant we were able to take some ham, cheese and bread rolls with us for lunch on the tour of the Loire valley chateaus.Certainly I would stay here again should I have the opportunity to return to TOURS.

This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in while in Europe (for the price!). It is conveniently located on the main street, just 5 minutes from the train station. The rooms are large and the showers are nice. Very clean. Would stay here again.
