Hotel Kyriad Prestige Schiltigheim - Schiltigheim, Strasbourg

As commented by others, the sliding bathroom door is a privacy issue when sharing room with others. When open, the door also hides the only closet in the room. We had the family room, second double bed was a rather uncomfortable fold-out couch. Restaurant opens at 7PM and is nicely appointed. The menu does not cater to children and being situated on an industrial estate no alternatives in the area. Breakfast buffet is limited and served stale coffee (around 8:45), otherwise ok.

The hotel was very nice. Not too extravagant, and not to simple. It was very comfortable. The staff were friendly.

This hotel was very nice and the front desk personnel were helpful and friendly. The only complaint...and it's a big one if you're not traveling alone....is the bathroom door. When you slide it shut, there are huge gaps on either side which means on the toilet or in the shower (with it's window) you are visible from everywhere in the room. Even for an old married couple it was disturbing.

No closet for clothes Website says you can get to Strasbourg downtown from hotel by public transportation, but not practical.

Most of our stay was very pleasant and we were impressed with the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. There were only 2 aspects that we thought could have been improved upon. We did request 2 non-smoking adjoining rooms one of which was fine but the other did smell of smoke. Our other concern was the sliding bathroom doors which were not a good fit and left a gap on both sides which was a little difficult when sharing a room with a child and not wanting to wake them later in the evening.

I enjoyed our stay at the hotel kyriad. It was very reasonably-priced in relation to the quality of the hotel. The only real problem with the place was that it was situated pretty far away from the city center itself and you had to take a bus and a tram just to get to the center, which took around 25-30 mins. Other than that, the hotel really exceeded my expectations.

This is a modern Hotel located on a rather remote industrial estate about 15 minutes from the town centre. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, the rooms and public areas are extremely comfortable and the staff are exceptionally friendly, welcoming and polite.

Very clean, staff very kind, but the location is good only if you have a car (very quite bet far of the city centre)
