The Hotel is very well located in the centre of Saumur. The hotel private parking although very tight was very useful and convenient, particularly if one is arriving late in the day when the local parkings may well be full.The rooms were very clean and reception was most helpful when I wanted to set up a WiFi connection to use my laptop.The only real problem area was the dining area which was miniscule and although the hotel was not full, on arriving for breakfast the actual dining tables were too small to accommodate even two people. There were only 10 guests at breakfast but we were completely squashed into a very limited space which made dining most uncomfortable.

The receptionist was very helpful and spoke English. We have a low sports car that would have been difficult to get into the underground garage so we were offered a separate single garage at no extra charge. Rooms had tea and coffee making facilities
