The room was typical size for European hotel, very clean, fresh, and new. The location was excellent - right across from the train station and in easy walking distance to dining, shopping, sites to visit, etc. The price was also great, especially for what you get.

Clean, friendly hotel directly across the north entrance to the Rennes train station. Friendly, helpful staff. Hard beds ... we found that was typical of our stay in France.

We're a family of 4 people; my children are 17 and 14 years old. We found the Kyriad an excellent hotel with a extremely good radio Quality vs. Price. Rennes was one of the two stops we planned on our way back to Paris from Brittany (Morbihan). Our second stop was at Chartres where there's another Kyriad but we opted for a more central hotel which we found not as good as Kyriad. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody.

Excellent position for the railway station. Old town is a 20 minute walk (or a few minutes on the efficient metro system). Hotel was clean and the friendly staff were helpful. Breakfast was quite good. My only criticism was that the bed was too hard for my liking.

Dry, sterile hotel, just opposite the train station. Glad we were late in and early out. Noisy on the square overnight with garbage pick-up. Balcony overlooked the front of the hotel. Breakfast was overpriced.

Quick and easy check-in. Great location close to the train station, but far from the old city. Impeccable room, very comfortable bed and new and clean bathroom. The bathtub/shower is a little odd in that there is no curtain, only a clear glass pane that only extends half the length of the tub. This makes it a challenge to avoid getting water all over the floor, but seems to be a common design in french bathrooms. Overall, very pleased with the hotel and exceptional value, (55E a night) considering the amenities. As with most french hotels, don't bother with the (usually overpriced) breakfast, just head to nearby boulangeries, etc. to get a couple of croissants and bread, cheese and meat to make sandwiches for lunch on the go while exploring the nearby sights.

It's a really nice hotel, clean and quiet, a really good relationship beteen price and quality. The only defiency is the parking, they have not a private one and neraby you have to pay, but it's free on Sundays.I found the breakfast a little expensive: (7.50) each one.

Perfect location for us as we arrived by train and hired a car the next day both of which were just across the road. Still close enough to easily walk into town and explore. Helpful, friendly staff. Decent size, clean rooms. Very good value for money.

The hotel is right across the street from the train station, which was VERY convenient. It was also near the bus station - we took a bus directly to Mont St. Michel. The room was quite spacious, compared to the rooms we had in Paris. The desk staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was minimal, but sufficient. There were several restaurants nearby, but it was also easy to take the metro further into town for shopping and dining.

Located on the edge of the central area of Rennes, the hotel is easy to reach by road, though parking is difficult. The hotel is pleasant enough: clean and functional with helpful staff.

Located just across the square from the Train Station. Several restaurants nearby and close a shopping center with grocery stores. They served a buffet breakfast, which was very ample and good variety. We arrived early and had to wait nearly 3 hours to get into our room. Check in is at 2pm and they were adhering to that rule very closely, however they told us if we had indicated we wanted early check-in when we reserved it might have been sooner.
