Small hotel in good convenient location. Subway, shopping, restaurants right around the corner. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Small room, large bathroom, at least to Paris standard.

Easy access. However, I was allocated a room next to the lobby at ground floor. It was very noisy at night and couldn't rest well.

We got what we expected for the price and were happy with it. Go for the breakfast! Sets you up for the day. That staff were particularly helpful during the transport strike.

It's always hit and miss when booking a budget place to stay in Paris but this place gets the thumbs up from me.... actually 2! Welcoming front desk, (his name was Dhir) room although small was super clean, they use duvets with changeable white covers and sheets were fresh and white, room smelled great! Kettle with selection of teas and coffee provided and brochures with helpful info to the standard of what you would find in a pricier hotel, flatscreen tv an added bonus. Closet space good, safe in room and a full length mirror!!! Clean and tidy bathroom, good towels. Located in the wonderful 13 Arrondisement , 5 mins from Metro: Place d'Italie, plenty of places to eat drink! Supermarket exit right from hotel. Check out the Japanese restaurant exit left from hotel, very good value, avoid the mixed asian place to the right... very greasy joint and suspect! A safe area to walk through if you are returning from a late nite as a single female traveller.

Our stay was overall very nice. The hotel is located in a fantastic neighborhood, though admittedly a bit far from Paris's main attractions. However, the metro is close by, cheap, fast, and can get you anywhere in the city. We loved the neighborhood; there are restaurants and cinemas and cafes all over. About 3 doors away from the hotel is a cute Asian restaurant called Nuits d'Asie; my boyfriend and I ate there literally almost every day. The room itself was great; it was small, but very clean, with maid service every day if you wanted. The only real downside was that the staff were pretty reserved, but they do speak decent English, and they're not hard to avoid. The hotel provides free good-quality Wi-Fi, which was also nice, and we were able to store our bags for almost an entire day since we didn't have a train until the evening we checked out. The lift was only large enough for one of us and one of our massive bags, but it was fast enough that it wasn't a huge imposition. I can't comment on the breakfast, since we didn't include it, but there are plenty of places nearby where you can get good-quality food for less than the required 8 Euro.

The hotel was only rated as a two star but we thought that it was nicer than that. The rooms were small but that is to be expected in Paris. They were clean and the bath facilities were nice. A short walk from two metro stations ( one with a couple different lines) and a decent selection of restaurants made the location acceptable. There is not much for tourists to see in that area but on the Metro you can be in the heart of things quickly. We will consider this hotel on another visit.

When we first arrived the room had not been cleaned and was very, very small. We had a young baby and requested a cot as well, so there was hardly space to swing a cat! The hotel staff were courteous but did not go out of their way to show us to our room, offer information and were not particularly friendly either. For the price the location was amazing, near bakeries, cafes and supermarkets and two underground stops. also only 10 minute walk to the river seine. However, if you need a bigger room and better service this is probably not the place for you.

Rooms were small but adequate. WiFi signal was good. TV has CNN. No A/C, but didn't really need it. Very nice diverse neighborhood, with many restaurants within walking distance and on same block as hotel. Metro was short two blocks away with many ATM's on way to metro.

It was a bit small but i understand rooms are small in all hotels in Paris. There was no air conditioning, i was there during the second week of June and we didn't need it, it got cool at night. the bathrooms were small but sufficient. the elevators only held 2 maybe three people at a time. for the price it was great. For the location,i felt it was also great. only a few blocks from the metro, where you can go anywhere . the restaurants in the area were good. i would stay there again.Don't get me wrong its only a 2-3 star hotel

Veary easy to stay. confortable. For me, as I drink hot drinks a lot, erectoric kettle was very helpful. The people of the hotel were friendly and informative. The location was a little long (10 minutes by Metro) from the center of the city, but I liked the area. 1 point I need to comment is the internet, I couldn't use it in my room, that was disappointing for me. Maybe not a big problem it was, but still I want many hotels improve this point...

This hotel worked out well for our needs. Nothing fancy but it was clean, we had our own full bath and it has a lift. It's proximity to the metro and reasonably priced restraunts etc made it the perfect choice for us. The neighborhood is nice and the hotel staff was very friendly. Not a luxury hotel but if you plan on spending most of your time experiencing the city and want a decent place to stay this is a great affordable choice.

Very good for the price, would happily stay again. Staff friendly. Good location for two metro stations, and range of eating places. Room clean but small. Try Cesar's itlian restaurant around the corner for good italian food with house wine at a reasonable price.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It is conveniently located in a side street between Place D'Italie & Les Gobelins metro stations. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was nice and clean with a modern bathroom. There is a supermarket a few metres away and a bakery round the corner. There are stores and restaurants around and 10-12 min.on foot on Blvd. Les Gobelins is Rue Muffetard with its open market, small stores and restaurants. Great for the experience and atmosphere.I would definitely come back.

This is a great choice for a very affordable, basic, clean, friendly place to stay in Paris. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very tidy, though quite small and the doors and walls were less than sound-proof. We were fortunate that ours faced onto the interior part of the building, so there was no noise whatsoever from outside. The breakfast was convenient, but I'll bet there are much better values within a few minutes by foot. The neighborhood is great, with loads of places to eat, drink, buy groceries, etc. Metro stop (Place D'Italie) is only a few minutes walk away, meaning it's exceedingly easy to get to and from train stations, airport, tourist destinations, etc. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place for people travelling relatively lightly who are more interested in the city than their hotel room. Excellent value.
