A clean, small hotel in very central Nimes. The location is convenient but not especially attractive. It is a very short walk to all the central sites, (The pedestrianised city centre is just across the boulevard from the hotel). Friendly and helpful staff. Our rooms were very small, one on the Ground floor with windows onto a street which was quite busy with noisy pedestrians all night, the other on the third floor was quieter. Our rooms were decorated in the same bright primaries as the communal parts of the hotel. There are posters and other artwork relating to bullfighting throughout the establishment. The shower worked well. The hotel has its own garage, which was very useful and efficiently managed. Everything was fine but it was quite basic. I would say this hotel is perfectly all right if you want to stay centrally in Nimes and not too expensively.

A very friendly central hotel in a quiet street only a few minutes walk to the Arenas and central area. Rooms very quiet with double glassing and also with the added benefit of air con in the bedrooms. Bathroom more spacious than many hotles of this star rating. Did not have the breakfast, but another guest mentioned it was good value. The staff are very welcoming and speak English and are very helpful in all matters. A garage is available at a small fee at the hotel.

Reception staff very pleasant and helpful, they apologised for the noise around midnight due to an exuberant group staying there. Access to train station is very good as I arrived late at night and left early in morning.

Nimes was a convenient base for exploring Provence - and this hotel was clean, convenient and a good value (though my single room was on the small side). Once I learned how to get there from the train station, it was pretty close (maybe a kilometer - and an easy walk on flat, well paved sidewalks). They also had an on site garage for the 1 night I had a car. I would definitely stay there again. And the Palatte Gourmand, a block away, was a wonderful restaurant.

The hotel was well placed for the centre of town and the staff were helpful and spoke good English. The breakfast was OK and the property did have a locked garage which was one of our top requirements, however the charge was per motorbike and as 4 bikes took up the eqivalent of one car we thought this was excessive. Luckily the hotel thought so too and only charged per pair of bikes. The rooms were adequate for a one night stay but were small even by 2 star standards. They were also a little 'worn'. Overall you got what you paid for but don't book if you want luxury!

A delightful place to stay. We were greeted like old friends although we had never been there before. The breakfast buffet, although additional to the price, was worth every cent: great choice, everything fresh and tasty. The room was well appointed and the beds comfortable. Particularly good was the fact that tea and coffee making facilities were provided.

The hotel was very reasonably priced and being in close proximity to the centre, it suited our requirements perfectly. Good choice at breakfast time.

Very central. Brightly coloured decor reflecting the Feria - was very cheerful. Shower head was a bit dodgy but it wasn't a problem and we didn't report it - suspect something would have been done. Price on Venere didn't include breakfast - thought it did - nevertheless would have chosen this hotel anyway. Good value, nice people, central position, small rooms but good. Recommended

It appeared that there had been a change of management recently and the name of the hotel had changed and the price quoted. Generally OK, but slightly different to advertised.

The hotel was perfectly appropriate for our purposes and the staff were pleasant and friendly. One criticism would be that the 'public area' was not as inviting as it might have been: more could have been made of the facilities .. with a little outlay a 'bar' area could be created and would be agood addition to the hotel's facilities

You will find no trace of a 'Plazza' hotel at the given address; the (new?) name apparently is 'Kyriad' hotel; quite misleading!

We stayed in 4 hotels during our two week stay and this was definitely the best by far although they were all three star hotels. The reception staff were excellent and we always felt welcomed each time we came in. All our needs were taken care of. Our only problem was that the room was tiny and that we were woken at the crack of dawn by a cycle club unloadng their bikes and chatting for hours beneeath our window: but not the hotel's fault!

As the hotel is situated in a one way street it is extremly difficult to get to. a few more sign boards would be helpfull. Also no mention of extra charges for breakfast in web site. Good value for money for a short stay.
