Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest - Budapest

A five star hotel in every regard. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Room was excellent in every regard, except I must say the bathroom fittings are quite tired and a renovation is well overdue. Would recommend to anyone as great value for money right in the heart of the tourist precinct.

The Kempinksi Corvinus in Budapest, is a very nice place to stay. It's located at the heart of the city with a lot of transportation offers around. I definitely would recomend the hotel to other travellers.

My wife and I stayed here over Easter for our 27th wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right choice. The friendly reception staff made us instantly welcome, a feeling that was to remain with us throughout our stay. Main features: Service - very attentive, friendly and helpful from all staff, going beyond our expectations. Regularly called on the concierge service for advice, restaurant reservations, transport and last minute opera tickets. Room - very comfortable, quiet, good bathroom, wi-fi Location - perfect; ideal spot for seeing the major sites. Amenities - comfortable bar, small but adequate gym (overlooking the street, which made the treadmill more interesting). Didn't see the pool and spa in full, but from the glimpse they looked fine. Food - only ate breakfast at the hotel. This was excellent, with plenty of options and of good quality. Likes - friendly, warm service; comfortably hotel in great location. For a 5 star hotel it was very good value. Dislikes - none. If we return to Budapest, we will stay at the Corvinus, Kempinski again.

My son and I travel extensively. We were very impressed with both the hotel and the restaurant.

The breakfast was very expensive

Big hotel on one of the main shopping streets near the Deak Ter metro (where all 3 metros meet). Central for either walking or travelling by public transport to the main areas of Budapest. Rooms were a reasonable size with 2 single beds adjacent to each other. Bathroom had a shower (no bath) and a very slippy floor when wet. Room had slippers and a bath robe, no tea/coffee maker. The prices for eating and drinking in the hotel were exorbitant. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It was our first time in Budapest. We stayed in a standard room. This was big enough and beds were VERY comfortable. Even if the hotel is located in the center of Budapest, it was really quiet. The service was excellent and people were kind and helpful. One advice : do not take your breakfast in the hotel. It is expensive and not exceptional. There are plenty of nice restaurants offering breakfast for an attractive price.
