Perfect for a night out in Angel Islington area, just a few minutes walk around the corner from Angel tube. Still on a main road but much quieter. We were on the 5th floor with no noise and a great view across London.

Room impeccable. The noise at 6am of the workmen banging in skips and banging their vans was unacceptable. I had to close the window it was so bad leaving the air uncomfortable in the room. Otherwise hotel great. Even better than my visit four years ago

Ugly, soulless rooms. One feels one is inside a big machine. Had to change the room because the view was so dreary. We extended our check out time but were disturbed twice but personnel who had not been informed.

A good spot to stay coming from EuroStar at St Pancras Station. Close to Angel Tube.Close to great restaurants etc. Great service and great price for London ... except once you'd added in the price for breakfast, 2 phonecalls (where I wasn't even connected) plus 10 EUROS for use of wifi (I'm still recovering from that) it was a bit pricier than I'd anticipated.Great view of London from window (could see St Pauls!) but street very busy and noisy - (keep window closed) - but that's London I suppose!

Everything was OK apart from the fact that the carpet in the room and on the corridors smelled terribly. It is strange that in an otherwise decent hotel this can happen.

Welcoming employees, but room bland. I think the price was a bit steep for a room without breakfast, even for London. did not sample breakfast at £9.50 - outrageous! If there was a cheaper option, it was not offered to us. Hotel chosen on location, ideal for our purpose.
