I've never had the experience with such unfriendly employees. When we arrived at the hotel, the employee first ignored us, then he looked up very unfriendly and only said: si? He answered all questions as short as possible with yes/no. That really runined everything. The room was ok, but noisy. The price was very fair though.

Excellent experience. We showed up in the middle of the night, and were welcomed and checked in quickly. Breakfast was excellent, and the hotel staff was very helpful.

Good overall.The only criticisms are the room I stayed in was a bit small, the bathroom didn't have enough surface areas, the staff provides a A4 black and white map of the area, which was not easy to rea, and the stairs outside the hotel are a little inconvenient as no ramp is provided to help with carrying heavy luggage. Small points, but they make a difference. A good point though is that the hotel is on top of a hill which is picturesque.

They describe it as 1 km from the trainstation or even 500m I think but in real life it is at least 2km and up a very very very steep hill. When you are carrying luggage it is a hard trip :-) . The area however is very romantic and we ate at a super trattoria wich was advised by a taxi driver. Ask the locals for the best non touristic restaurants and you will eat a lot better and sheaper

Quite nice hotel, although double rooms rather small with exceptionally poor clothes storage facilities.Bar and restaurant areas excellent with impeccable service.Breakfast buffet and dinner menu excellent.All staff extremely pleasent and helpful.

very nice hotel, the staff was a bit standoff-ish, and the room was a bit small, but overall it was nice. Don't stay in Ancona for more than one night, though. There is NOTHING to do here. I only stayed to catch the ferry to Greece the next day. I can't imagine any other reason for visiting Ancona.

We only stayed overnight. There is a great restaurant on the harbour virtually in front of the hotel that can't be seen from the road. You need to walk through a carpark. Really good food and service and not expensive.

We arrived in Ancona from Split at the harbor at about 21:00 and there were NO taxis anywhere to be found. So we walked about 1 km. down the street and up the hill to the Jolly Hotel. We found the lobby to be very quiet and there were no bell-men on duty to assist with bags. The room was quite small (with decor dating back about 20 years), but the bathroom was well-appointed. For the price we received from Venere.com and our mere 1-night stay, it was worth it.
