By car
Go through the tollgate (motorway A4 or A27) and follow road markings to Venice. Once left the mainland, you can park your car in one of the garages on Tronchetto island, at the end of Ponte della Libertà on your right, or go on and park in one of the garages in Piazzale Roma. You can park in Mestre, in front of the railway station, and then reach Venice by train (see Venice railway station) or by bus nr. 2 (see Piazzale Roma). All parking areas are with fee.
- from Tronchetto take ferry boat nr 82 up to San Basilio stop, and walk on to apartment-hotel Ai Carmini (5 minutes’distance - see map)
- from Piazzale Roma you can reach apartment-hotel Ai Carmini with a nice walk (more or less 10 minutes - see map) or take ferry boat nr 82 up to San Basilio stop. Then walk on to your destination (5 minutes’distance - see map)

By train
(Santa Lucia railway station): you can reach apartment-hotel Ai Carmini with a nice walk (more or less 10 minutes - see map) or take ferry boat nr .... up to San Basilio stop. Then walk on to your destination (5 minutes’distance - see map).

By airplane
(Marco Polo airport): Take ATVO shuttle bus or ACTV bus nr. 5 to Venice up to Piazzale Roma bus terminal (13 km distance, more or less 15 minutes), then go on to apartment-hotel Ai Carmini (see By car – from Piazzale Roma). You can also land directly to apartment-hotel Ai Carmini by private taxi boat or by taxi car up to Piazzale Roma.
