外観 - 夜間 The Hotel Pousada de Viseu is a classy luxury hotel in Viseu, Portugal, located 5 minutes' walk away from the historic centre, with is narrow streets, cathedral and many churches. Viseu's shopping district is also nearby as is the Grão Vasco Museum, where you can learn all about the life and work of the famous Portuguese painter Vasco Fernandes. Many fabulous golf courses and a horse riding centre are also within easy reach of this unique Viseu hotel too.

This pousada is no ordinary hotel, as it is located in the buildings of the 18th century São Teotónio Hospital, which closed its doors as recently as 2007. As well as having a fascinating history, the Pousada de Viseu Hotel is also the first of the Pousadas chain to be fitted out with a spa, making this one of the most original spa hotels in Portugal.

Within the spa, hotel guests can relax and enjoy a swim in the indoor swimming pool, a sauna or soften up with a massage or a Turkish bath. The spa also features a tropical shower, ice fountain and a state-of-the-art gym. This historic 5 star Viseu hotel has a gourmet restaurant where you can try some traditional cuisine from the Biera region, such as their famous soups, bean dishes, risottos, seafood, fish and roast meat dishes.
