The hotel is in the area of the Montalbano hills, surrounding the town of Vinci, where it is possible to visit Leonardo's home and museum with his original models and drawings, the library and the castle with its wine cellar.

The main square of Vinci features an enormous bronze horse, which has been made by the Japanese sculptor Nina Akamu, after master Leonardo's drawings.

Vinci and the closeby towns Cerreto Guidi, Empoli, Capraia, Limite and Montelupo Fiorentino preserve the memory of ancient civilisations with castles and town centres from the Middle Ages and villas and palaces from the Renaissance.

The land, canals and roads around Vinci were drawn by Leonardo. This peaceful landscape is ideal for excursions, guided tours to vineyards as well as tastings of wine, oil and local products.

From the SS Firenze-Pisa-Livorno, take Empoli Est exit to the left in the Empoli direction. Cross the Arno river in the Vinci-Sovigliana direction. Continue on viale Togliatti for 300 metres. The hotel is on the left.

By train
Empoli train station is 2 km from the hotel. Take the bus going to Vinci and get off at the Sovigliana stop.

By airplane
Pisa airport is 45 km from the hotel and Florence airport is 25 km away. They are both well connected to the hotel with the highway, following the indications above.
