Designed by Harry Colt in 1928, The golf course of Chantaco is all around
the hotel and in front of the Basque Country montains.
The diversity of trees all over the golf make reputation.
The maritime "Parasol" and "Nordmann Pines", large " Tulipiens from Virginie" are making
this course incomparable.
Made in two sections:nine holesset in a forest-fringed valley
and nine featming outstanding water obstacles.
The golf course of Chantaco was often chosen to organise major international
tournaments including, most notably, the French Open.
