Situated in the heart of the bustling city of Newcastle upon Tyne, the Royal Station Hotel combines elegant Victorian architecture with up-to-date facilities and takes pride in offering a courteous and friendly service.
Opened by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1858, the hotel has been recently refurbished to a very high standard and now features 144 spacious en-suite bedrooms, a choice of fourteen versatile conference suites the largest of which can accommodate up to 200 delegates, Wi-Fi high speed Internet in all areas, a leisure centre (open Monday to Saturday excluding bank holidays), and the popular Destination Bar.
Conveniently located, adjacent to the central station, the hotel is the ideal base for exploring the city whether visiting on business or pleasure.

This recently refurbished restaurant seats guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the week. It is open to the public and a popular venue amongst other culinary delights for its excellent Carvery Sunday Lunch Buffet.
The room is furnished with blond-wood tables and comfortable leather chairs. Guests can also try à la carte or table d'hote menus at the restaurant supported by a large selection of wines, beers and spirits.
The bar caters for a wide range of customers throughout the day and evening with an emphasis on comfortable leather seating, excellent service and a bar menu offering high quality, value for money food.
Two state-of-the-art large plasma screens keep sports fans happy and most evenings the bar offers DJ-led entertainment until 1 a.m.
