ホテル正面 The Library Hotel brings a unique concept to the world of hospitality in New York City and is a property that no book lover should ever miss. As the name suggests, the hotel is indeed organized just like a library with 10 floors arranged according to the Dewey Decimal System (the same used in most libraries over the world).

You will therefore find entire floors of rooms dedicated to a specific subject and containing literally hundreds of books. The topics include social sciences, literature, languages, history, math & science, general knowledge, technology, philosophy, the arts and religion.

Moreover, to allow you to share your thoughts regarding a book with other culture lovers or simply to sit back and relax with your favorite author, the hotel features two exquisite venues, a patio and lounge with their own terraces, the Poetry Garden and the Writer's Den.

An exclusively appointed bar, located between the Poetry Garden and the Writer's Den, provides refreshments throughout the day and transforms into a beautiful cocktail lounge each Monday - Saturday evening.

Furthermore, complimentary afternoon tea, coffee, cappuccino, espresso, cafe au lait, cookies and fruits are always available in the Reading Room. Imported champagne, fine wines and a selection of cheeses are served Monday to Saturday evenings from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Wi-Fi Internet access is available in the Reading Room and in the business center, while sports lovers will enjoy free access at the nearby New York Sports Club.

A meeting room for up to 12 people is located on the Penthouse level and same day dry cleaning service is also available. The first floor Madison & Vine Restaurant is the hotel's brand new American Bistro and international Wine Bar, serving lunch and dinner in a casually elegant setting.

The property is located on fashionable Madison Avenue at 41st street also known as Library Way in the East Side.

From JFK International airport take the Van Wyck Expressway to the Grand Central Parkway. Take the Grand Central Parkway West towards the Triboro Bridge. Take the bridge towards Manhattan. Take the FDR Drive ramps and merge onto FDR Drive South. Take exit 8 towards the Midtown Tunnel (I-495 East/34th Street). Merge onto FDR Drive service road West, then turn left onto E 39th St. and then right on Madison Avenue. The hotel is located on Madison Avenue at 41st Street.
From LaGuardia International airport take the Grand Central Parkway West towards the Triboro Bridge. Take the bridge towards Manhattan. Take the FDR Drive ramps and merge onto FDR Drive South. Take exit 8 towards the Midtown Tunnel (I-495 East/34th Street). Merge onto FDR Drive service road West. Then turn left onto the E 39th and then right on Madison Avenue. The hotel is located on Madison Avenue at 41st Street.
From Newark Airport take the New Jersey Turnpike to I-95 North towards 15 East-16 East-18 East/Lincoln Tunnel. Take the Route 3 exit towards the Lincoln Tunnel. Merge onto I-495 East. Stay in the right lane in the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, take the 34th Street exit eastbound. Turn left onto Madison Avenue. The hotel is located on Madison Avenue at 41st Street.

By train
From Pennsylvania Station take the red subway line (1,2,3,9) and get off on 42nd street. Then take the purple subway line (7) till Grand Central Station, just one block from the hotel.

By airplane
From JFK International Airport take the New York Airport Service Express Bus for Midtown Manhattan/West Side until Pennsylvania Station and follow the indications above. You can also take the Super Shuttle Manhattan, which offers a shared door to door service to any address in Manhattan, including all hotels. Another option is to take the Air Train Jfk till the Jamaica subway stop. Take the brown line (J,M,Z) until Canal Street and switch to the green line (4,5,6) until Grand Central Station.
From LaGuardia International Airport take the New York Airport Service Express Bus for Midtown Manhattan/West Side until Pennsylvania Station. You can also take the Super Shuttle Manhattan, which offers a shared door to door service to any address in Manhattan, including all hotels.
