ホテル外部 Hotel Angelica is situated on Hydra island, 42 nautical miles from Athens port, the Piraeus. Housed in a traditional villa, it lies on the main island road, only a 3-minute walk from the port.

Offering a warm atmosphere and a very comfortable setting, the hotel is one of the most beautifully renovated island buildings. Both the rooms and the hall combine the traditional island colours, while the garden is the ideal place for breakfast or just relaxing.

Hydra is the only island in Greece, and even in Europe, where cars are strictly forbidden, including the use of bicycles and scooters. The island is popular with artists and hosts many cultural events all year round. Offering many walks with breathtaking scenery, this is the ideal place for both art and nature lovers.

The first mansion, which has been transformed into a hotel, has the following facilities: 10 double rooms, 3 triple rooms and 1 single room.

Angelicaへのアクセス

By aiplane
The nearest airport is 80 kilometres from the Hydra port.
To reach the hotel from the airport the best way is to take the bus. Take line X96 and get off at Karaiskaki square (last stop, near the port). The ride costs about €4,00 per person.
You can also take a taxi to the hotel, which costs about €25,00, or the underground which leads to the port, but you have to change train at Monasthraki station. The ride costs about €6,00 per person.

By boat
From the Pireaus, you can reach Hydra by flying dolphin hydrofoil or ferry, which leave the port daily.
