The hotel is so-named because it was here that the famous La Gioconda painting was recovered in 1913 after having been stolen from the Louvre.

From the A1 highway, exit at Firenze Nord if you are arriving from the North, or Firenze Sud if you are arriving from the South, follow directions to the Centro, then to the Santa Maria Novella railway station. By train

By airplane
