It is only a few miles outside this enchanting historic Italian town, famous for its many Medieval towers. Furthermore, the Podere Casanuova is within easy driving distance of Siena and Florence, both great places for a day trip, and there are many sporting activities available in the vicinity, like tennis, horse riding, and golfing if you just want to relax.

Ideal for farmhouse holidays in Tuscany, the Podere Casanuova is a 17th-century farmhouse which has been converted into a charming self-catering apartment complex. Staying here you will be surrounded by woods, olive groves, vineyards, and rolling hills, the ideal spot to take a break, leave work behind, and really unwind.

You can enjoy relaxing swims in the Podere Casanuova's outdoor swimming pool, which is surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas. The apartment complex is run by English and French speaking staff, who will be happy to help you and even provide you with a map so you can get around.

They range from 40-98 m² (430.5-1,059 sq. ft) in size; the smallest one being ideal for couples, while the larger apartments can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. Small pets are also welcome, as the Podere Casanuova is pet friendly.

By car
From Rome via the A1 highway: Exit at Val di Chiana and get onto the S.S. 71 Road near Siena. Follow signs for the Tangenziale bypass and Florence. Exit at Poggibonsi and follow signs for San Gimignano. When you get to San Gimignano, turn left at the roundabout towards Volterra and after 300 metres/326 yards turn left towards Montauto, following signs for the Podere Casanuova.
From Bologna/Florence via the A1 highway: Exit at Firenze Certosa and take the four lane road for Siena. Exit at Poggibonsi, follow signs for San Gimignano and then follow the directions above.
