The buildings, which date back to 1179, were renovated by the owner with the aim of creating a peaceful retreat for guests seeking privacy and tranquillity.

There are 8 suites, each comprising a large living room with sofa bed (2 single beds), a twin or double room, bathroom with shower, and a furnished outdoor area. Above all, Santa Maria degli Ancillotti is suited to couples who would like to be in a friendly family-run hotel where service is of the utmost importance. There are many of life’s little pleasures to enjoy, such as breakfast on the patio next to the hotel’s restaurant, which offers traditional home-style cooking and caters for the individual wishes of guests. By car: from the South, take the A1 and exit at Orte and follow the E45 in the direction of Perugia. Once past Perugia, follow the signs for Cesena and take the exit at Valfabbrica. After about 3 km, turn right towards Petrignano di Assisi, and when you reach Petrignano di Assisi turn left in the direction of Palazzo di Assisi. After 1400 metres you will find signs for Santa Maria degli Ancillotti. Coming from the North, take the A1 and exit at Valdichiana, then follow the E45 in the direction of Perugia. Once you arrive at Perugia, follow the signs for Cesena and exit at Valfabbrica. After about 3 km, turn right towards Petrignano di Assisi, and when you reach Petrignano di Assisi turn left in the direction of Palazzo di Assisi. After 1400 metres you will find signs for Santa Maria degli Ancillotti. Using GPS, enter the following coordinates: N – 43° 6.595 E – 12° 33.805
