ロビー From San Crispino Residence, this ancient medieval complex, you can enjoy a superb panoramic view: on your left, the wonderful façade of the Basilica of St. Clare, on your right the evocative view of S. Maria Maggiore, on the back the Dome of Chiesa Nova and St. Rufino Cathedral, on the top, the imposing Rocca Maggiore and, on the front, the green Umbrian valley surrounded by soft rolling hills.

After you close the heavy entrance door and find yourself in the complex, you have the feeling of loosing space and time: you are steeped in a silent, evocative and intimate atmosphere: you find yourself in an ancient but perfectly preserved structure with all the comforts you may desire for your stay.

アパートメント（客室） You can sense ancient memories in one of the 7 independent apartments named after the elements of St. Francis Canticle of the Creatures: Frate foco (Brother Fire), Madre Terra (Mother Earth), Sora Luna e Le Stelle (Sister Moon and Stars), Sora Acqua (Sister Water), Frate Vento (Brother Wind), Frate Sole (Brother Sun) and Beatitudo (Beatitude).

Each unit has been realised with masterly skill in the most evocative parts of the building, respecting medieval arches and walls (even the roofs are made of ancient pantiles) in order to keep the charm of the past alive for those who wish to experience the traditions and history of this magic town.

Both in the entrance way and in the two gardens (a 500 sq. metre garden and another 250 sq. metre garden on the first level), you feel protected by a warm embrace: you are surrounded by ancient medieval and roman walls, you are safe from winds blowing from every cardinal point, but, at the same time, you can observe a limitless landscape, a real blue sky over you which seems to open your heart, mind and soul.

The seven apartments have been created with ancient styled furniture, paintings, carpets and curtains in order to make your holidays in San Crispino unique and unforgettable.

You can experience the pleasure of eating on a Frantino-styled table or sitting on a walnut choir bench; you can illuminate your apartment by using lamps made out of ancient wooden candlesticks and wrought iron candle-holders of hundreds of years ago; at the same time, you can enjoy the comforts of a satellite TV, telephone, safe-box, buzzer, hairdryer, cooking facilities, fridge, comfortable sunchairs to enjoy the sunshine on the terraces or in the private gardens.

HOW TO REACH US:

From E-45 highway, you take Exit Assisi S. Maria degli Angeli and you drive in the direction of Assisi. On your left from the main road, in a big round corner, you find Parking Porta Moiano, the nearest to our Residence (less than 100 metres), which offers special prices for our guests. (speak to the Reception for further details). However, on arrival, instead of parking here, you can drive into the historical centre through Porta Nova specifying that you are driving to San Crispino Historical Residence. You reach St. Clare’s square and then you drive across Via S. Agnese, which goes down on your left from the square. 50 metres far away, San Crispino Historical Residence welcomes you with its big wooden entrance door and a wonderful shrine dating back to the XIV century.
