The sympathetically restored building of the former customs and post office that dates back to 1612 and has been in family possession for four generations. This historical guesthouse has modern hotel rooms, a stylish restaurant, a sunny patio garden as well as parking facilities for cars and coaches alike.
Located in the heart of the idyllic Mosel valley, it is ideal for tourists, and the immediate proximity to the
2000-year-old centre of the town of Trier facilitates a wide range of different leisure activities. The hotel has 19 spacious guest rooms with a total of 40 beds and is entirely committed to the well-being of its guests.
After a tiring journey, why not relax by taking a restful stroll through the forests, which lead you to the vineyards and offer you a beautiful view of Trier and the river Mosel. You will find this path immediately opposite our hotel.
The Patio Garden:
The patio garden is located above the spacious old vaulted cellars of the former customs office.
The sunny outside patio beckons you enjoy a pleasant evening meal in a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.

l'hotel è caratteristico, molto carino. E' talmente particolare che anche l'odore di polvere mista a legno che si sente salendo le scale fa parte dell'ambiente. Certo manca di qualche comodità forse essenziale (telefono in camera, shampoo e docciaschiuma monodose) però tutto sommato offre un piacevole soggiorno. E' un po' distante dal centro città e non invita a passeggiate (la strada è molto trafficata e non c'è marciapiede), ma offre una buona silenziosità e camere ampie ed accoglienti. Colazione discreta che si svolge in ambienti retrò molto gradevoli. Se non sapete dove andare a mangiare (e siete italiani!) andate "da Biagio" ristorante-pizzeria a circa 500 m verso l'autostrada. Vi stordirà di chiacchiere ma è simpaticissimo e si mangia discretamente.
