The Origo Hostel & Guesthouse is located in the heart of Budapest, next to the Parliament building, the Museum of Ethnography and the spectacular Danube river.
The Guest House, located on the second floor of a typical Hungarian historic building, ensures you a memorable stay in Budapest, one of the most beautiful cities of Europe.
Ours is a small, cosy and clean guesthouse on the second floor of a nice, old Pest downtown building. We have totally only 4 rooms (2 DBL rooms + 1 TWIN room, plus a large room for 3 or 4 persons), and 2 very nice bathrooms (one with shower, the other with bathtube) belong to these 4 rooms, so unlike in many hostels, one bathrooms is shared by only max. 4 persons / 2 rooms.
In our guesthouse there is a living room connected with a big kitchen, which is very well equipped: oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge, laundry. We also have a nice terrace.
(DBL = room with one doublebed, TWIN = room with 2 single beds)
We also have a separate apartment with 2+1 rooms for maximum 7 persons, with well equipped kitchen and own bathroom suitable for group of friends or families (for more info click the "book our apartment!" menü point)
We created an own atmosphere for all of our rooms in the hostel, and they have their own colour and style: The green, the blue, the red and the yellow room can be booked!

il bedandbreakfast è davvero originale e carino!è centralissimo,vicino alla metro(che abbiamo preso pochissimo)e in un quartiere molto bello. per quanto riguarda la struttura lascia un pò a desiderare: le stanze affacciano tutte su un'area comune quindi c'è davvero poca privacy e molto rumore; inoltre non hanno tapparelle alle finestre ed i letti e le coperte sono molto scomodi. Il proprietario non è stato molto disponibile alle nostre esigenze,la ragazza che provvede all'accoglienza devo ammetere che ha fatto di tutto per risolvere nei limiti i nostri problemi. Consiglio questo posto ad un gruppo (che eventualmente può fittarlo tutto) o a chi ha davvero tanto tanto tanto spirito di adattamento!!

L'ostello è molto carino,si trova nel centro città ed è magnificamente collegato. Nel sito non era specificato che i bagni sono in condivisione come la cucina. Gli spazi comuni non vengono puliti tutti i giorni (le stanze mai) e comunque si tratta di una pulizia approssimativa. Abbiamo visto il personale (1ragazza) solo al momento dell'arrivo e per le pulizie.

By car
Get off at the Kossuth square metro stop, turn right and proceed straight on for about 15-20 meters. At the corner, turn right again into Nador street. Then walk for about 50-60 meters and you will find the Origo Guesthouse next to the Little Irish Café.
By train
From Keleti railway station, take the underground red line towards Deli and get off at the Kossuth square.
From Nyugati railway station, take the underground blue line toward Kobanya-Kispest and get off at the Deak square.
From Déli railway station, take the underground red line, toward Örs Vezer Tere. Get off at the 'Kossuth' square. Then turn right and proceed straight on for about 15-20 meters. At the corner, turn right again into Nador street. Then walk for about 50-60 meters and you will find the Origo Guesthouse next to the Little Irish Café.
By airplane
From Ferihegy airport take the 'Repter Busz' shuttle service, and get off at the 'Kobanya Kispest' last stop. Take the underground blue line M3, toward Úpest-központ and get off at the Deak square. Then take the underground red line and get off at the 'Kossuth' square.
Walk for about 10 minutes, cross the Erzsebet square and walk until the Vorosparty square. Then walk until the Nador street.
