A nice hotel, with very, very friendly and helpful receptionists during an entire week, which made our first visit in Nice so pleasant. Situated at 5-7 min away from railway station, useful for trips to Monaco, Cannes etc. Rooms are not very large, but were cleaned every day. We have a very quiet room.

The hotel is central and easy to reach coming from the station, as easy is to reach from it the main interests of the city, like the shopping streets, the main squares and so on. The rooms are clean and tidy, very small but comfortable is needed for a space of 3 or 4 days. For the breakfast, we preferred going out in a nearby boucherie, and we spent less money. The staff is nice and they understand italian. recommended for couples, not for families.

The receptions were friendly and helpful. They gave us a city map and provided details information. The hotel room was decent and cosy, with comfortable beds, patio doors with a small balcony, and air conditioning. The bathroom was small but clean. We had no problems with the hotel and intend to stay again next time if we visit Nice again. The location is excellent. The breakfast could be better.

Second Inter hotel we stayed at this trip. They are fine, though lacking in character. Their wifi charging system is not good and their breakfast charges are ridiculous for the value. Room was good with good view, but too tight for triple bed situation. Elevator was antiquated and too small. Location was not close to most areas tourists would visit, but not too far from train station. Too few restaurants in immediate area.

Hotel was acceptable for the price. Staff were so so. Thought it was a bit mean to charge for use of the internet station in reception. Close to srain station and bus stop for airport - but overall not great as all the restaurants and bars and atmosphere is in old town. Suited us as for night before getting to airport.

Very close to the see and to the restaurant area, pretty sorroundings although quite noisy. But the room as very nice, quite and clean. It was not very clear that breakfast was not included. If by car parking can be very difficult around the hotel, but you can get a card for a parking area which is very close so that you can get in and out whenever you want for 13 euros/day.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was not too large but what we expected from the French Riviera. the location was about 10 minutes walking to the beach and 15 min from the Old Town which isn't bad. Along the way you pass lots of shops and a few markets which was convenient. There is a laundromat 2 blocks away. Ask for a balcony room if there is one available, they are nice.

The Hotel was central to the town centre and railway station, however the room itself was tiny, and there wasn't a lot of choice at breakfast. I didn't realise until we arrived that it was only 2* and we are used to 3* so maybe that was the problem. If all rooms were similar size/layout I could only recommend it for short stays, certainly not families.

Never again!

Our first visit to Nice and we were staying only one night prior to early departure. We wanted a hotel not too far from the railway station (SNCF) but also easy reach of beach, old town and harbour. The hotel is located in a quiet district but easy reach of all 3 areas. We found the hotel good, clean, comfortable, quiet, air-conditioned-all you could ask for. We did not take breakfast as we had an early flight. The hotel reception was extremely helpful with taxis and other such things. No hestitation in recommending the hotel to anyone.

Buon hotel. Ideale come posizione.

This hotel is away from the group of hotels around the Nice-Ville train station, yet within walking distance. It is located on the corner of streets without a lot of traffic. The windows are double paned and block most all outside noise. The air conditioning worked very well, and the room was light, well appointed, and large for a French hotel. Restaurants are a few blocks away walking either east or west. Is not an attractive location to students, because it is not in the center of action. Very comfortable stay and recommended.

We were pleasently surprised at the size of our room as some comments had referred to small rooms. We stayed in room 417 - the top corner room. It was a decent size and in excellent order. Pro's: Good location - 5 mins walk to train station where there is an airport bus which takes you direct for 8Euro per person - a taxi is around 30Euro. 10 mins walk to the beach. Staff are friendly. Rooms are clean with a modern bathroom, and double glazed windows to block out the road traffic which does a good job. Con's: The room type we received didn't resemble anything like the pictures. The room is exceptionally small, but good if all you need is a room at night to sleep. Sound insulation between rooms not so great - but then the hotel is an old converted townhouse.

The hotel was easy to find and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Major issue for us was the size of the rooms - we are a family of five and had a double and a triple. The double was small but adequate. The triple was extremely tight and there was little room for luggage. Size aside, the rooms were clean and the bathroom facilities good. Location is good - close to railway and a comfortable walk to shops/restaurants and beach. Good recommendations from the staff regarding local sites, transport options etc.

The hotel was just as expected and presented on the website. Not far from beach (though be prepared for 10 minute walk), friendly and nicely set-up. The breakfarst buffet although priced at 7 euro per person is reall treat (and to be honest that price is hard to beat if you want to eat more than coffiee and croissant anywhere in Nice). Hotel has parking space in near by garage that will cost you 13 euro per day. Nevertheless, there was pleanty of pay parking arround it and even some free spaces. Taking into account that Sunday parking is free and that parking between 12:00-14:00 and after 18:00 till 09:00 next day is free, one does not need to use the garage. Parking on meter is 1 euro per hour so it comes to 7 euros per day. We had only two objections. Firstly, the directions to hotel are not clear enough specially if one is comming from the Italian border. You will spent 20 minutes looking for exit Promenade des Angles as there is no one on that side of highway. The best is to drive to the town next to Nice turn arround and than follow directions as indicated. Secondly, the table with the hotel name exists but is not easilly visible from the Promenade des Anglais. There are several traffick lanes of the Promenade and unless you are in the one closesst to builidngs you would not see the sign. So look at the street closest to the buildings and hotels and you might spot it, although we almost never did. The best is to look at the map of the area and focus on directions for Ralway station and streets leading from Promenade to the hotel. Also be prepared to ask for soap, coffie, plastic cups or other amenities as they will not be automatically replaced. Rooms were generally cleaned but there is no habbit of replacing toiletries. All in all we would stay again in the same hotel. The value for money was excellent and staff very friendly.

Hotel was conveniently located mid-way between seafront/station/shops. The hotel, although nothing speacial, was adequate and met our needs for our 4 night stay in Nice. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We had two rooms for our party (3 adults, 2 teenage children) , a triple and a double. The double was bigger than the triple which was rather cramped. However, both rooms were clean and were serviced satisfactorily. The double room was warm but it was more difficult to keep the triple warm (we stayed in mid Feb). The buffet breakfast was good with a fairly extensive choice. The hotel was quiet except for the noise from the elevator which took a little getting used to at night.

The lady at the front desk is very nice and helpful! Very nice locations and 10 minutes walk to the beach. The room is small but clean. Overall, good quality with reasonable price. I will be happy to stay there again next time.

We had a lovely stay. We found it is cheaper to book on the internet as the prices quoted at the hotel were more expensive. The hotel was great value for money, very clean, friendly, and good service. Good location - 5 minutes walk form the train station and 10 minutes walk to the beach. We will definitely be back!

Bit of a walk to the nightlife but overall good location. Simple but perfectly adequate tourist class hotel with very helpful staff. Needs a new lift though!

A great hotel for the price. The room was small but very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Close to the train station too. I would stay here again.

This was our second stay at this property. It is only a short walk to the Promenade Anglais and the old quarter. This is a well run hotel with comfortable rooms and bathrooms. No meals are available other than breakfast which costs extra but this is not a problem given the number of eating options in the area. Very close to the hotel on both stays we used a self service laundry. This hotel provides good value in Nice.

The hotel was in a good area. The rooms were clean - fairly spacious and everything one could wish for. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the advice offered was useful. I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

The hotel was pretty much what I expected for a three star place. It is situated in the convenient location for those who need to stay close to the central train station and at the same time prefer quiet surroundings.

The hotel is close to the railway station, which we needed. Very friendly and comfortable. Quaint, atmospheric but functional lift. We would be happy to go back. Also enjoyed cafe 'Mozart' along the road.

I was charged for additional taxes which I wasn't happy about - I expected the full price would be indicated on the site. Room was quite small, and location was a little out of the main action, and a bit further than the few minutes walk we has expected. Reasonable value for money though in Nice at Xmas time

If you search for a Hotel not far vom the railway station and in the Old Town, the Kyriad ist a real good value for your money. But ask for the streetfront rooms, it´s not too noisy but more sunny than the other side. And use the ancient elevator, 100 years old, no problems!

The hotel was located very close to the train station so that you don't have to take a taxi yet you can still walk to the beach in about 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly. Only downside is that there is no airconditioning.

Friendly english speaking staff, room was ready early which was convienent. Also room was clean and had a balcony. Noise level (although rooms are called ' soundproofed') was a bit high. Woke up in middle of the night when the couple next door came home and started chatting.
