Very well situated downtown in the city center. Staff in the hotel is Superb! You have to be aware that the hotel is a floor divided into rooms, inside a building with other apartments. But for visiting the city is very convenient for price, location and staff.

This was our second visit and we stayed in the same room (Room 6). It is one of the biggest rooms and seems to be in a quieter location than the others. No problems with noise this time; last time we did hear people outside and our neighbors, but it was okay, especially with the bathroom fan on. It's a great location and a good price. The main area smelled like smoke, but luckily our room did not. Another guest complained that their room smelled like smoke, so I guess we got lucky. Overall, I recommend it.

Location is excellent, close to the airport bus stop at Morzinplatz, and only 5 min walk from Hofburg. Room was quiet, except from the church bell at Maria am Gestade, which started ringing at 6 am.

Very good location, reach main attraction in a distance walk.Clean and comfortable room, good staff with helps to answer any informations. Breakfast is OK. Don't forget to contack them if you check in late, some noises in the middle of the night. Use the Swedenplatz station to get in and out is easy and has everything for shopping or dinning. Very easy for bus to airport. I'll stay there again next time for sure.

Good accomodation, good quality/price rate, only one problem: we arrived at 1pm but our room wasn't still ready. The check out is at 10am, not at noon as written in your website. Anyway, no problem for the accomodation of the luggage before going away

The entrance of the hotel is not looking like a hotel. The sign is too small, hard to find the hotel.Since it is on the street, there is noise all the time. The room is basic but I believe that enough for everyone who just needs somewhere to sleep. The location of the hotel is great, very close to Stephansplatz, Rathaus, airport bus stop, tram and metro. The staff was helpfull and let me leave my luggage there. Breakfast was ok.

Very good located in the "1. Bezirk". Public transportation (like the airport bus, tram and metro) and some attractions (like the Stephansdom, Hofburg etc.) are in walking distance. Nice and clean rooms. Our room 8 was located towards Salzgries and was a little noisy though. Rooms 1-3 should be more quiet as they are located to a side street and a bit back of the breakfast room. When you arrive beside the business hours you have to let them know as otherwise you will not get in. We sent an e-mail two days before arrival and so they were there at the time advised to welcome us. Would recommend this accommodation and stay there again!

Clean & spacious rooms in the city centre. Good for budget travellers who want to be within walking distance of main sights. Just be aware that reception hours are limited. If you arrive outside these hours make sure to contact them.

Dan In'n Out perfectly suits people who intend to spend entire days in the city and need just a place to sleep and take a shower before the next day for the reasonable price. The location is just superb, in the Inner City, although there are couple of bars on the street and the kids on the street might get noisy outside especially on the weekend, but that's solved by shutting windows. Sound isolation is not very good between the rooms, so loud talk or laugh will be perfectly heard in the other rooms, but it seems that fellow travellers understood that and we all tried to keep quiet, so I had a good night sleep during all 5 nights. If you are travelling to explore Vienna and want to live with simple amenities for a reasonable price in the middle of the city (also 5 minute walk from 3 different subway stations) - that's definately your choice. If you are looking for more comfort and classy stay - look for something else. P.S. If you are coming after the reception hours (check them) then you need to contact staff in advance, otherwise there's gonna be nobody to check you in.

We booked this room in a hurry, so we didnt checked the homepage throughout so we didnt know that the reception is open only till 3pm. when we arrived at 4 and nobody was there we were waiting half an hour until a guest arrived and let us in. we called the receptionist who explained which key we should take from the reception so that she doesnt have to come back, which was ok. but next day when we woke up at around 10.30. most of the things for breakfast were still there so we started to eat. but there was no bread. when we asked the receptionist for more bread she explained us in a telling off voice that the breakfast time it was over at 10am which we would have known if someone have told us the previous day. and there were other guests arriving later then us to eat so i didnt really understand the problem. at the check out they charged 75 euros instead of 72 which is not a big difference, but after this service its just annoying.

I spent 4 nights (6-10 Feb.) in Vienna being there on business while at the same time setting some time aside for sightseeing and leisure. I have to state since the very beginning that the hotel/pension exceeded my expectations. First, it was the price. Well, since I could afford a higher price, I was a bit suspicious when I booked online given the mismatch between the very central location of this hotel and the more than reasonable price/room. It's not easy to get reasonable hotel prices in central locations in western European capitals nowadays. But it is worth mentioning that it seemed as what I paid might have been subject to an off-peak season discount. I would have paid more anyway. Second, the cleanliness and quietness of the rooms. Each late afternoon/early evening I would find the room and the bathroom cleaned up and put to order, the sheets and towels changed and everything in place. The hotel was very quiet almost all the time. Third, the location. It couldn't have been better. It's only 3-4 min walk to Schwedenplaz/Morzinplatz to/from where you can get the bus to/from the Vienna airport (only 20 mins ride) for 7 euros. At last, I have to mention the friendly and very collaborative staff, at least so were the 3 young ladies seemingly running the place. Other bonuses include the quietness of the surroundings, the free (and working!) wireless connection and the breakfast (a standard one). On the 'down' side, the common space was a bit inconvenient with the tables and chairs packed very close to each-other while I didn't see more than 4 people (incl. me) having breakfast at the same time. But it could be that the guests were waking up and having breakfast much later than I was doing. Finally, I would definitely go back to this place and would recommend it without hesitation.

The rooms were spacious but not very clean: the carpets were full of dust and there was a lot of dust also under the bed. The public areas were a bit sad and aseptic for the artificial light (no windows), paintings and the music too was sad. Good the location near to the underground (Schwedenplatz)and 5 minutes walk to Stephansdom.

The hotel was excellent in many respects. However, the rooms of this hotel, which looked like a former office building, must have been constructed from a larger space with very thin walls. The guy snoring very loudly in the next room may as well have been in our bed. People conversing in the next room after arriving late woke us up. Thumping on the wall quieted them but it was a little awkward at breakfast, not knowing if we'd offended someone. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A couple of them had kind of shaky English, so communication was a challenge. That's more our fault than theirs - it's their country, after all - but there it is. It was also odd having no staff on hand in the evenings or much of the weekend. The location was very good; convenient to major sites, to the U-bahn, and to the airport bus. All in all, it was a good value but they need some wall insulation!

Fantastic position - only 5 minutes walk to the cathedral and 10 to the Hofburg Palace. Everything we wanted and spotlessly clean. Some reviews have suggested problems in arriving out of reception hours. We e-mailed in advance and a member of staff was ready to greet us at 9.30 pm with a really warm welcome. Will head there again next visit.

This would be an almost perfect hotel for a tourist in Vienna on a budget who wants only to come back to the hotel to have some sleep and breakfast. The only 2 issues I have had were: 1) non-working Wi-Fi (I absolutely needed internet access in the evenings so I had to pay extra for an internet sim card) 2) water drainage in the shower which needed some cleaning so the water could go away faster. The breakfast was OK and if the issues above were fixed this would be a great choice for price/quality relation and location - the very center of Vienna (about 10 minutes walk to Stephansplatz) P.S. Oh, and if you are a heavy TV watcher - the rooms do not have a cable or satellite television, so the picture quality is really poor. But, really, who needs TV when there is Vienna around? :-)

We loved the room: spacious (for European standards) and very clean. The lobby/breakfast area has no windows, which gives it a 'cafeteria' look, but the tasty and ample breakfast more than compensated for it! The only aspect that bothered us at the hotel was that even if the hotel is smoke-free, some of the staff smoked in the staff room, and we could smell it at times in the common areas. Otherwise, a great value for the money. As for Vienna, lunch as Cafe' Central is highly recommended (their 'prix fixed' was one of the best meals we had there, and at (9.90 euros a steal). The Treasury was a bit of a let down, but that's probably due to our personal interest (how many coronation robes does one really need to see?)

If you're comfortable with the Ikea experience, you'll understand Dan In'n Out. It's clean, it delivers what it promises, and it's certainly good value. The room was bright, with new Ikea-type furnishings. Breakfast was basic but included what you'd expect in Austria. The common area is clean, very basic, and very small. The girl at was friendly and helpful, quite nice. It's located on a generally quiet street within the Ring. However, it's about a 10-minute walk to the U-Bahn. We stayed on a Saturday night, and there was some noise from activity on the street that quieted down eventually. Light from both the street and from the hall kept the room from being as dark as I'd like. We would stay there again despite these drawbacks. It was good value. Be aware that there's only a small sign over the bell at street level; you take the small lift one floor up. It's not staffed 24/7, so make sure you're in communication with them about your planned arrival time.

We felt very welcome and safe at this hotel. The staff were very helpful. It was very well located and easy to get to transport, sites and facilities. We enjoyed our stay and the service.

This was my first time in Vienna and my first time staying in a pension instead of a hotel. I chose Dan In'n'Out because of its excellent central location. I was not disappointed. The pension was a few minutes walk from some of the most amazing sites in Vienna, namely Stephansdom and Hoher Markt. In addition, the metro station is also a only few minutes away, although I mostly walked everywhere. The pension is in the residential building which gave the pension a cosy feel, as if renting a room in a large city apartment. Several days before my arrival, I was contacted by e-mail to check on the time of my arrival, since the receptionist is there only from 7.30am till 5pm. If you are scheduled to arrive later, they ensure someone is there to meet you. The receptionist, Mersiha, was friendly, knowledgable about the city and professional. She gave me great advice on how to use the metro and took the time to give me metro directions to the train station which saved me a substantial cab fare. My room, altough not too spacious or lavishly furnished, was super clean, bright and cozy, with a functioning TV including some English channels. The bed was very comfortable, the room was warm, the bathroom and the shower updated and spotless with nice quality towels. This is a pension, so they don't offer soaps, shampoos, hair dryer and other things normally offered in hotels. Buffet style breakfast was served from 7.30am till 9am and included several types of cereal and breads, good quality cold cuts and cheese, jelly, fruit, excellent coffee, juice, mineral water. If you prefer warm breakfast, various breakfast eateries and bakeries are around the corner-I thought the pension breakfast was more than adequate. My purpose in Vienna was to sightsee and experience as much of the city as I possibly could in four short days. Staying at Dan In'n'Out suited that purpose perfectly. I would always come back here and have already recommended the pension to family members.

It was great. The hosts were great. It is situated in a very central part of vienna, just 7 minutes away from Stephansdom. Close to the swedenplatz metro station and also in a region where there are a lot of nice pubs and restaurants. It was the first time we stayed, but we will surley come back to this place. We loved it!

Seemed like a good neighbourhood, on street with few bars so some noise at night from passers by. Slightly difficult to find the hotel at first as within normal residential bulding. Good service for relatively low price (for Vienna), limited but adequate breakfast. Would stay again if looking in same price bracket.
