Outstanding view and a nice room. Bed was VERY small and not comfortable. Room was very clean (though not cleaned every day). Lots of steps up to the room but the view worth it. Could do with a/c in the hot weather. Overall happy with our stay.

Vernazza - Could not have chosen a better town to stay in Cinque Terre. Authentic Italian athmosphere if you stay overnight. The room we rented for three nights at Elisabetta was great - the owners were very charming and helpful, the sun-bathed terrace view was awesome, the location perfect for circulating in Cinque Terre and the room very clean but we would have appreciated a real refrigerator for drinks and snacks in the room and a more comfortable bed. Overall we were very please with our stay at Elisabetta and will recommend it to all our friends.

The good: total privacy. We only saw the owner at the arrival. The bad: No internet. No TV. No breakfast. Hard to get there (lots of inclined stairs).

What a charming place! It requires a lot of stair climbing but the views are spectacular. Our only complaint was that there were no directions and Elisabetta wasn't there at check in and we had to enlist the help of a nearby shopkeeper to help us find her. Her dad was helpful and carried our luggage up the rest of the way and told us a little about the town. Simple rooms, but darling.

Easy to find, difficult to reach. Over 112 stairs and uphill walking to get to room. Views are good but not worth the trouble to get there. Other places in town offer as much or more with far little effort. Noisy with many trains daily and nightly. Crashing surf and no air conditiong so windows had to remain open. Very small room and miniture bath and shower. No one on property, neighbor had to phone manager who lived in another part of town. Poor business sense and little or no bookkeeping, no office, hard to get ahold of, no services, no breakfast. Inn Elisabetta did not meet our expectations.

Difficult to meet up with the owner/representative. I called the number, reached someone (Elisabetta) who didn't speak English who hung up on me. Then, apparently she sent her husband to meet us (without warning), and fortunately we ran into him. He was very helpful and knew plenty of English. There is construction between the room and balcony, but this wasn't a major inconvenience. Best balcony view in Vernazza. Nice room, fan is in the closet - very helpful for the heat!

If you don't mind a small room, STAY HERE!! It had the most gorgeous view of Vernazza and was a perfect place to rest our head after days of hiking. The place is small but that wasn't an issue for us. Comfortable bed, hot water in the shower, beautiful panoramic rooftop terrace, and there is an AMAZING restaurant called Da Piva on the way to the hotel: get the seafood risotto. Stay here if you want your breath taken away every time you glance outside. The only person i would not recommend this place to is someone with bad knees because the 50 stairs to the hotel could be a little bit of a challenge--but worth it all the same

Elisabetta and her husband were very helpfully at any rate. A big cloudburst were over 5-Terre. Our daughter was alone in the appartement while we were stuck in La Spezia because there was a train accident. So I called Elisabetta and she took care for here meanwhile. Thank you very much for the hospitality and see you at our next stay. The 2-story-rooms (kitchenette and couch below, sleeping room upstairs) are very spacious, tidy and comfortable. And the price (80 €) is quite allright. 5-Terre is good for hiking and watching a beatiful landscape. But in the restaurants and supermarkets prices are running wild. Often - not always - you've got the feeling that you're only a tourist: just pay and go away. But Elisabetta, and the "Via dell'Amore" were perfect.

It was not easy to find and had to wait because nobody was at the reception. Overall, the room was small but clean. We had a wonderful view from the terrasse on the roof and that made our stay there very unique.Thank you!

To reach our room, we had to climb 78 steep stone steps! No elevator - people need to be aware. The host was wonderful and carried our bags, but even then, the steep climb was a challenge. Once we were in the room, it was wonderful, and the views from the terraces were spectacular.

A tough way to there, but the view on the cliff is worthy. No breakfast. I will stay in there again for the spectacular sunset with a small bag instead of trunk.

Camere Elisabetta is a great place to stay if you want a cliff-side view of the ocean and an amazing balcony. Be ready to climb lots of steps! The rooms are small, but can easily accomodate two travelers. The owners were friendly too. Remember that you must pay in cash. We loved leaving the window open at night and sleeping with the sound of waves crashing in the background!

We were grateful for Elisabetta's husband's help carrying our bags up SO many steps to the apartment. We also didn't expect him to offer to clean the room every day. Furniture was comfortable and the bathroom was fine. Great view from the upper patio. Reasons I would not stay there again: way too many steps for my husband, I wish there had been a few more dishes and forks etc in the kitchen, the granite steps to bedroom were very slippery. Also I'd look for someplace further from the train station because of the noise.

Elisabetta and Joseph were lovely and met us when we got off the train. The climb to the room was tough but the view was well worth it. The room was very tiny and the bathroom was certainly adequate. The view from our room and the 360 degree view from the terrace above was wonderful. There was another deck just below or room so we loved that.

Very helpful gracious hosts, wonderful town, great room location, and an absolutely fantastic view from the terrace!! Because the town is in the cliffs (hence the great views),one must be able to climb steps.

We had an extremely small room ["cabin" is probably a more apt description!] (8' x 8') which seemed to be a recent addition on the roof terrace. It was so small that it could only fit in a queen-sized bed and a small fridge which top doubled up as a small bedside table. (There was a small table lamp on it but we removed it, otherwise we would definitely have knocked it down!). There was a plastic table and 2 plastic chairs placed outside our room, on the terrace, for our use. That was fine with us - the terrace was like having our very own open-air living room! The view from the terrace(and the fact that one only needed to open the door of the room and one would be immediately welcomed by the view of the sea from the terrace) more than made up for the cramped space of the room!! The tiny bathroom was spotlessly clean too. Overall, though, the price we paid (85Euros) was still high, considering there was no breakfast, and not even an electric kettle to make a cup of tea on a cold morning!
