What are the benefits of staying in Murano?
And why Murano and Hotel Murano Palace attracts more than Venice?
- The island of Murano has a strategic location at the center of the lagoon that allows, compared to Venice, connections faster and easier. In fact, from Venice "Marco Polo" you can use the direct waterbus "Alilaguna Blue" and in 25 minutes arrive to Murano (1 ° stop "Murano Colonna") and in only 3 minutes walk to the hotel.
- From Santa Lucia train station and from Piazzale Rome depart ACTV waterbus Line 3 (Direct Murano) - 1 ° stop "Murano Colonna."
- The connection to Venice is guaranteed all day and night.
- Practical and convenient for guests arriving by water taxi as the hotel overlooking the canal.
- Convenient, since only a few meters away is the ferry to the islands of Burano and Torcello.
- Few people know that every 10 minutes there is a boat that in just 8 minutes reach Venice.
- Murano is also greatly appreciated by our guests as far away from the chaos of the city of Venice, enjoy a quiet and relaxing.
- Murano Palace offers charming rooms furnished with fine fabrics in '700 Venetian style and is located in a prestigious location in the heart of the island which faces one of its main channels - the Rio dei Vetrai where are the major stores and more prestigious names in the glass like Murano Barovier and Toso, Venini, Berengo Studio, Lino Tagliapietra, Pino Signoretto, Dino Rosin.

my wife and I had an excellent 2 days at the Murano Palace. The location is ideal for a short visit to Murano. The room and breakfast were both of a very high quality. Cesare our host was very welcoming and very helpful. We would unhesitatingly return.

Cesare (owner/manager) was extremely helpful at all times, and clearly made it his business to make sure that we enjoyed our stay as much as possible. I would recommend his hotel to anyone without hesitation.

I did enjoy staying at Murano Palace, just like the previous reviews said! I stayed in a room with the Canal View. (I appreciated the upgrade :) The room was very clean, tidy and beautiful. It's close to the Vaporetto (water bus) stop, and water taxis can pick you up right in front of the hotel as well. It was lovely to spend 2 nights there. The hotel owner Cesare and his wife Donatella were so kind to help me (who was traveling alone) enjoy staying in Murano, Venice. The girl at the reception is also nice and kind. Everyone who works there is so friendly. I went to his son's restaurant for lunch, which is just a minute walk from the hotel. The food was excellent! I enjoyed the specialty of Venetian cuisine and all that. He and the restaurant staff are very friendly and fun :) I enjoyed the lunch there. One of the Murano Glass shops (accessories etc.) that another son of his owns is a lovely place to get some souvenirs from Murano, especially for women :) The owner and all the staff were also very friendly. Needless to say, the location, room and atmosphere of the hotel were perfect. (There's no elevator, but the hotel staff will help you with carrying luggages.) But what I liked the most about Murano Palace is 'people'. I felt so welcome, I was very happy during my stay in Murano. I hope you'll also experience what I experienced and that you'll make some wonderful memories there. I recommend this hotel to everyone who goes to Murano. Ci vediamo! Chiharu dal Giappone (from Japan)

This is a jem of a place if you like small, family run hotels. It is situated next to one of the lovely canals in Murano. Cesare is a wonderful host and we were very sad to leave after out 3 day stay. Murano is worth a reasonable stay, we even went back later on as we were missing it. There are frequent vaporetto (boat) trips to all other parts of the Venice area, including Burano and Torchello. We thought Murano much nicer than Burano, which was very touristy. Murano has beautiful hand made glass and you can see glass blowing etc quite easily. Cesare took us to one nearby, with no pressure to buy anything. Although there are only a few restaurants on Murano, the one closest to Murano Palace was very good. The vaporetto runs all night long to and from Venice (Fondamente Nove stop) so you can go into Venice to eat in the evening. We hope to go back to the Murano Palace one day - it was very special.

The airconditioner was not working, despite it being quite a hot period. We had to sleep with the windows open, which was a problem due to mosquitoes at night, and noise/pollution from delivery boat in the mornings. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. The bidet water would not get warm.

Excellent decor and super friendly service. Unexpectedly got a terrace with our reasonably priced room. The hotel owner was very gracious, answered all of our questions and made suggestions of sites we'd like to see and how to get there. Great for looking around the outer lagoon (Murano, Burano or San Michele) and an easy vaporetto ride to the main neighborhoods of Venice until late night. The best place we stayed in Italy!
