We stayed in Venice for two days. The room was clean, the staff was very good and helpful, the breakfast was excellent. The location was very comfortable, on the shore and very close to the boats stop. We most highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay. We stayed at the room with the view overlooking the lagoon and it was very romantic. Also the rooms were centrally heated with clean bathrooms and towels. The service staff was great and friendly. We also got a complementary visit to the Murano Island with a guided tour. The best part is its location. You can stay here and can walk all around Venice.

Venice is a unique and magic city. The Residenza A Tribute to Music is a lovely, cosy and very well located place, where all the people do their best to make us feel satisfied. The view and the light from the laguna are unforgettable. A special thanks to Martina, Daniele and Jack.

Very well located. Nice view for the rooms on the water, a bit noisy too (but not too much). Rooms on the backyard must be very quiet. Friendly and competent service. Breakfast could be improved, but overall a very nice hotel.

We stayed on 3rd floor and the view from the room was excellent!! It took only 5 minutes from water bus stop. They advised to take water bus No.1 only but you can take the other line which goes the other side of the island.

Well situated! In a room with lagoon view (very nice!) you can hear the boats tied up during the night (a bit noisy, but our room had air con). On the other hand you can sit all day long at the window and watch the coming and going of boats and people.

Beautiful view and very warm welcome. Hotel right at the Waterside, near to St. Mark Place. Room quite small and in DEATILS not very accurat(no shower curtain, hanger of curtain at window down and out, tv antenna not proberly fixed, bad television reception,...). Bath modern and spacious. Breakfastroom just for few people (causes queue in the morning). Conclusion: Hotel okay, but it hurts to pay such a lot for this (middelclass) room. If you are willing to pay for the great view, watching ships (even very early in the morning and be not afraid of the ship horn...), hotel is well situated.

The location is optimal, very close to the vaporetto station "Arsenale" and in walking distance to Piazza San Marco. We had a room with sea view, the room itself was rather small, but the bathroom was big. The breakfast room was very small but nice and although the breakfast was served, the assortment was very big. The staff was very helpful in every way. We would stay here again provided we could get the same price.

A little trouble at first, since we had wanted a sea view but none was available, we did get a beautiful newly decorated room with a view of a quaint little court yard with a church and bell! A great location for Venice, from rail station we took public boat route #1, an awesome ride down the Grand Canal, after stop, the hotel is a short walk (about 3 bridges) along the water. Public area was being redecorated, looked like it was coming along very nicely, very helpful staff.

The situation of the hotel is excellent, our welcome was very friendly and helpful. the room with small terrace in front of the lagoon was simple but clean, the heating worked ok. the view from the room over the lagoon was marvellous. We will certainly try to go there again if we have a chance.

Stayed here for 7 nights in Sept 2006. Under new management since June 2006, & the new lot are trying really hard. Although close to S. Marco, the nearest bus stop is Arsenale (otherwise you`ll be pulling luggage over 6 bridges). Hotel difficult to find from outside - go by the house number. Breakfast now in the hotel, and 24-hr desk service. Very helpful staff. The usual small Eurorooms, but clean. Worth paying the extra for a Canal view. On some floors you may even get a microbalcony. Given the closeness to S.Marco, the Canal view & the usual price of rooms in Venice, I think this place is very good value for money.

we had a terrace room with a wonderful and beautiful view. Very spacious room, they may rent it for long term, it has a mini kitchen/fridge/laundry machine which we did not use. The bathroom was large and had a large soaking tub. The room also has two small skylights. Very romantic, highly recommended for couples.

Good points: The hotel was in a prime location with outstanding views to the lido and sea, only a few mins from St Marks Square The concierge was excellent, cannot rate him highly enough for help, advice & friendliness. The hotel was very clean & pleasant and we enjoyed our stay, we never tired of watching life from our window. Not so good points: It was difficult to locate on arrival as no name displayed, the gound floor is a souvenier shop and the hotel entrance is an insignifcant door which when we arrived at 2pm was locked. We dragged our cases past the hotel twice in midday July heat before we finally sussed it. the room was small. No meals on the premises we had to go to cafe a few yards away for breakfast which was very basic and the waiters were rude! However we would reccommend the hotel with the proviso that if you have a room with a view it will be noisy. We thought it was ok price wise considering Venice is v expensive.
