CHECK AVAILABILITY
Residenza Cà Dario is located in the historic center of Venice in a quiet, private courtyard. It is situated close to Piazzale Roma and 5 minutes from Santa Lucia railway station.

Though easily reached by public transport, Residenza Cà Dario lies in one of the most tranquil and "Venetian" parts of Venice and is closed to some of the city's greatest architectural and artistic treasures.

Charmingly converted from a private residence into a guesthouse, Residenza Cà Dario offers impeccably clean rooms, all with air-conditioning and simple but tasteful furnishings; most of guestrooms have a view over a characteristic Venetian waterway where frequently you can enjoy a gondolier's serenade. Some other rooms are located in the nearby Corte Canal residence.

Also available is a cozy little apartment situated just a 15-minute walking distance from the reception in the most popular and colorful area of Venice, Cannaregio, where you can feel the real Venetian life! The apartment is composed of 1 room with 4 beds, kitchen, bathroom, TV, and air conditioning. Linen and end-of-stay cleaning are included.
Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided in public areas. The reception is open from 8:30 AM until 6 PM, and is a very important connecting unit where guests are welcomed and the staff hands out the keys, and all the information you need to make your stay in Venice as pleasant as possible is provided.

A nice little room in a nice garden - great and near to all and near to bus stop to airport and boots! Breakfast at the room - and only at the departure known that there was a coffee machine at the first floor.... ;-) No welcome at 21.45 in the evening and the description to the house funny (turn left and go right).... but a great stay anyway! Italian life!

Firstly, the receptionist was not as welcoming as she should have been. The room we stayed in was very cramped and the decor was bleak. The breakfast consisted of a little basket of processed junk food which was disappointing because we hoped to be set for the morning walk. Also, the towels provided were not towels, they were more like really thin sheets of sand paper. Likewise, pillows were paper thin. The shared bathroom was kept clean but was not stocked with paper towels or enough toilet paper, however their personal bathroom in their office was... We payed much less for other b&bs in Italy which were of a higher quality that this place.

Our stay with Residenza Ca Dario was overall pleasant but there are several issues. 1. The towels are actually tablecloths, not fluffy and not soft. I would suggest bringing your own if you are staying more than a couple of days. Or buy a cheap, actual towel upon arrival. 2. There is a restaurant which opens until late night right opposite our room. We lived on the 3rd storey but the noise still got to us. I think they watched football or something. 3. They had a laundry machine but we werent allowed to use it, but its not a big problem. Just strange. 4. I got bitten by something twice during the night, iwe suspect it has something to do with the bed? But wr could be wrong. 5. Location is a little far from the main attractions (15-20 mins to Rialto Bridge, 20-30 mins to tge basilica and square) but we like how it was near to a couple of great eateries. Such as Bacareto da Lele abd Pasticceria Tonolo.

The hotel staff was very nice offering us an extended check-in time, since we arrived in Venice after 11pm. The Hotel is located in a central area of the city, from where we could reach the main see sights. The big problem was at night. During our 2-days stay in Venice, we couldn´t sleep, since our room faced the street where there was a restaurant. It was extremly laud, since people sitting outside have made party till 2am. It is not the hotel´s fault, but I think they should meet some compromise with the restaurant´s owner. Some words about the breakfast. It was very simply and not actually healthy.

The location was a bit hard to find on our own. However, with the directions provided, it was very easy. We ended up using these to get back to our hotel on more than one occasion. Staff gave very helpful advice, and tips, as to where to go and what to do that is different than the main tourist attractions. The hotel had a lot of charm and felt more like a home. The layout of the room was a bit odd but that was expected. They gave fresh coffee in the morning and croissants (not the highest quality but OK to begin the day)

The reception is on the opposite side of the apartment where we were placed, and its a good walk between the 2. In fairness the accommodation was walking distance from the train station and other tourist spots.

We tried to check out as 8 am...but, office hours was closed with sign that office hours will be open between 9-18, we had breakfast nearby cafe, and return at 9:15-9:30 am, but again no one was found and office was closed. We were waiting until 10:15 we tried to call, we reach massage, finally we went back to room and left the key from the room inside, because no place to leave keys if office closed… For one day staying in Venice 3-4 hours looking for someone to check out it was very frustrating. I would not recommend this hotel to my friend….

200 Euros for the so-called "double room" was over-priced, however, considering this is Venice, you won't find much cheaper. Main complaints are: room was infested with 20-30 flys on various walls throughout; included "breakfast" amounted to factory made mini-buns, small foil wrapped cheese wedges, orange juice, and coffee from a machine; the room was in close proximity to a bar from which loud noise could be heard into the night; and towels where actually the material one would use for table cloths. The unique charm of Venice allowed us to endure these issues, and you probably won't find a room for much cheaper than this.

I have only one advice... Find a map to locate hotel! The recepcion and the hotel are on two different locations. Everything else is "you get what you pay"

The appartement we booked -called luxurious in the web- was awful: too small even for two people, and we were four; the kitchen didn't work, and there was only a tiny dining table. When we complained, they offered us something a bit better, but paying more.

The location was perfect. A bit noisy at night because we have a room right above the canal, so the view was very nice, but we were awaken few times during a night because some people were singing songs during their gondola rides like at 2 am. But this was expected. The bed was quate hard, but again it was OK for me, but very uncomfortable for my husband. Overoll, it was good room for the price and location. Pizza place in a corner is fantastic and the liquor store accros stays open late. :)
