It is a beautiful house, extremely well located opposite the Accademia and near San Marco, very easily accessible from airport with vaporetto. The room was spacious, very well heated (it's January), good and clean bathroom and generous breakfast (could have had some fresh fruit, then would have been divine). Extremely quiet, except sometimes noise from the corridors, but not problematic. Had acqua alta and hotel provided spontaneously rubber boots. VERY nice! Definitely an address to keep and to go back on other occasion.

I stayed at single room 3 nights. It was a little away from the central Venice, but I came back to the hotel and have a break time to time. The biggest problem was to find the hotel! It was almost impossible to find. They must have a bigger sign. The hotel room looked new and clean. Breakfast was OK. Bed was small, and no air conditioning, but there was an electrical fan. I stayed there in June, so an electrical fan was enough. No mosquito at that time. Young lady at the front was very kind and friendly, but other old guys were nothing like that. If I come to Venice alone again, I would choose this hotel.

Located next to the pier Academia, which puts it at the epicenter of Venice, in a quiet and easily accessible. Be careful to identify the location of the hotel because it is poorly marked (see on Google Map , it is very easy). The door is at the bottom of the lane, second bell. Lift on three floors. friendly staff. The breakfast is not exceptional, but it's not the most important. In this regard, it is self, but do not hesitate to ask for an espresso or capucino to the person behind the bar, she will be happy to serve you. We had the room 36, super clean (towels changed every day).

My boyfriend and me stayed at Foresteria for one night in a double room. The room was clean and spacious. The receptionists were all very nice and friendly and they suggested us a pretty good restaurant near the hotel for the first dinner. The position of the hotel was really central, few minutes away from the city centre. The breakfast was good but not excellent, just croissant and juice. I will definitely suggest this hotel to my friends.

This place is amazingly clean and very modern in design. However, we spent close to two hours walking around Venice with two huge pieces of luggage asking locals how to get to the hotel. In Venice they divide the city into sections and the hotel only gave us the section that it was located in. IF YOU DO STAY BE PREPARED TO WALK A LONG TIME TO FIND.

Good location, totaly central, but difficult to find. I felt welcome by the staff, very well heated also in floors and the breakfastroom, what was important in automn! Only the breakfast was typical italian: a little bit poor. Only things to eat with sugar. Also the breakfastroom was not very comfortable, but ok. I had a single room. I would go there again!

Everything was allright. Except the mosquitos. The best solution would be to put a MOSQUITO NET at the windows!! Breakfast buffet was copious and coffee was fine. But many guests cannot eat any joghurt, so they would welcome some fruit/fruit salad to put in their müsli. If not, at least some DRIED fruits(ALBICOCCHE/PRUGNE SECCHE)

This is a lovely old biulding in the heart of Venice and offers great value. Our room was large and clean...The breakfast was more than acceptable (ask for coffee don't use the flask) There are not really any common areas but the location is fantastic right in the middle of the Rialto bridge and St marks square...Good value..

Except for one person who was helpful, everyone else was horrible and very unfriendly! The girl at the front is also racist!! I do not recommend this place. It was also noisy with construction nearby, there was no A/C, breakfast was mediocre and again staff were really not helpful. Stay closer to St. Marks Piazza if possible.

Save your money and stay in a hostel. Lets face it when you go to Venice you aren't going to be spending all your time in your room which was just as well. It was very basic; no fridge, no hairdryer, no mirror. Breakfast was minimal; it was an expensive mistake.

This is a very conveniently located b&b - only 2 mins(literally) from the Academia bridge (and the vaporetto stop) - which is quite helpful if you have luggage to carry with you. Also very convenient location to get to St Mark's Square - only a 10m walk. The staff are very friendly, the room was clean and very spacious. The only thing you should consider is bringing some moscito spray - apart from that, a magnificent expreience. Would not hesitate staying here again. The breakfast is good, they offer quite a selection of things to eat. Overall, a very satisfied customer!

At the end of August we were in Venice. The room we stayed in was double guestroom with a private nice bath, fan (no air conditioner!) and it was cosy and clean. We expected the room to be more spacious but nevertheless our stay at Foresteria Fondazione Levi was satisfying.

The room was great, lots of space and had a very character feel. Big downside was there was no a/c which led to leaving the window open and being eaten alive by mosquitos. The only other downside was it was very difficult to find with no signage besides the name on the buzzer which was not even on the door with the correct address.

It is close to San Marco's square(10 min walk)and has beautyful surroundings. The hotel its a little hard to find, I had to call the hotel the first time i arrived. The rooms are nice and clean and have a fan, and anti-mosquitoe plugs (however they are called). The price is a little expensive but any other hotel in venice will cost as much or even more. I recommend it to everyone.

Venice is expensive. This is not a hotel but a guest house and it shows. Personnel do not seem quolified to run it. Breakfast personnel are not there to see to your needs, but theirs. One day we found our room door unlocked. It is not so easy to find. Breakfast is good but not varied. It certainly is not worth 120 euros.

This hotel is fairly good for its price in Italy, especially Venice. The room was clean and well-kept, but the furniture was a bit falling apart (the bed frame...) even though it looked brand new. A problem was that, on the top floor, hot water pressure was very weak. Another problem was heating which was not tunable, so the room was either cold or hot, hence very dry, which did not go well with my nose. The staff was very nice in a strange way: instead of promising to correct problems and not do anything, they said that they could not do anything and then worked (to some extent successfully) on the problem! So they did improve this heating problem after all. The 10am checkout was a tad early and buffet breakfast was just OK (and a bit stressful the last day when all the hotel came at the same time in this cramped breakfast room). All in all, I think you can find much worse places in Venice and the location is really excellent.

I was very impressed with the hotel, we were staying in three and I was amazed when I entered in my two-floors room. All the furniture seemed brand new and the spaciousness was enough for a 10 person commitive. Bathroom was perfectly clean. Location is great, we were right beside to Ponte dell'Accademia. I would definetly recommend, and come back to this hotel.

I highly recommend this estabishment. It is very good situated, in front of the Accademia bridge. It was very clean. The breakfast was ok, but there are only sweet things to eat. The only problem was the heat. We could even not sleep. There was only a little ventilator and no air conditioning. But that is very usual in Venice.

The place is essentially a dorm, with only single beds that were uncomfortable. The rooms are big, clean and well-heated. Breakfast is fairly good. The place lacks charm but is a good value and well-located. Not a very romantic choice, but good for the single budget traveller.

Selected this hotel for a single night in Venice between a few days in Rome and a return flight to the US. Although there was no A/C, the oscillating fan with the open windows (and the shades down to prevent mosquitos from entering) allowed us to get a good night's rest. There were two separate beds (as in the hotel photos), which can put a damper on enjoying this city for a couple. We did find a scorpion on the shower curtain which freaked us out to the extent of not taking a shower on the morning of the departure. The person at the checkout could not speak English, so we were not able to convey this to him in our hurry to get to the airport. Good thing too -- it got us to the vaporetto stop earlier than planned and we found that there was a local public transportation strike. I was dissapointed that the hotel staff had not warned us. If so, we'd have requested a private taxi. Luckily the location on Accademia bridge is close to several hotels. There was someone else who had ordered a private taxi to the airport, and was willing to share the taxi with us.

Our night at this hotel was awesome! I was traveling with my college age son and daughter. We had trouble finding it, but when we did (at 11:30 pm) , it was well worth it! The location was great and the staff was very welcoming! Elena, the young women at the front desk in the morning was very helpful. We wanted to stay an extra night but they had no availability. She offered to look for another room for us, and quickly found another wonderful place. She called the other hotel for us, made a reservation and they were ready for us when we got there! Our stay in Venice was wonderful, much in part to Elena! (spelling may not be correct)

Location excellent, and rooms quite large. Be careful of the address on this site - the actual street address is different and finding the place can be confusing. Breakfast was just ok, and with only one person to serve, very slow and chaotic. Courtyard was noisy from people in other buildings. We had trouble checking out - a sign on the desk said "no credit cards" and when we asked about it, we were told we could still pay that way, since we booked online. When we went to check out, the clerk at that time didn't know that, and was at first unwilling to let us. When we threatened to leave because we had no cash to pay, he had to call and find out how to use the authorization machine (which was hidden away). It was not a pleasant experience. However, we would stay there again, due to price and convenience.
