Wonderful B&B. A little hard to find even with instructions as entrance is a gate in a brick wall with only a very small plaque with name. Photos are of building inside courtyard which is not visible from street. Staff very friendly and helpful. Near P. Roma. Very convenient if you are on cruise leaving from San Basilio.

Travelled with husband and 2 children 11, 12 years. Got a room with doublebed and 2 singlebeds. Room was very clean and large enough but not as spacious as the ones shown on their webpage. View was nice towards different gardens and rooftops. Excellent breakfast in the room, that was lovely!! Room was a bit too well heated but they fixed that. Had to wait some minutes fot hot water when showering, Tv only italian channels, but we had no time to watch anyways. Location great, quiet area but close to buses and vaporetto and a nice walk to the maincenter. The hotel was a bit difficult to find but only because they have no sign showing this is a hotel, it is an ordinary gate with a tiny sign just beside the door with the hotelname on it. Hotelprices seem overall a bit high for what you get but we have nothing to complain about and we can recommend this hotel to anyone.

Venice is difficult to get around in especially if you have a satelite navigator. make sure you print out a map. Its real close to the parking area and that is great for carrying luggage. its a bit of a walk to San Marco and you will go a different way each time but the exploration is deliteful. We've stayed at Della Corte 2X now and we will return with friend next time. The rooms on the second floor are large and comfortable for Venice standards. Breakfast is so-so but there are some great restaurants right around the corner.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Hotel Ca' Della Corte. We were met at the door by Katherina who made us feel welcome right away. The room was incredibly spacious - with a grande piano in our room (really!). A delicious continental breakfast was served in our room (exactly on time as we ordered it). I will definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Venice!

It was the first time at the Ca' della Corte, but I did like it from the very beginning! Highly recommended for those who want to feel Venice, not "only see San Marco". One should keep in mind that our experience is based on being upgraded to the bigger suite-similar three-bed-room. Very friendly personell and fully sufficient breakfast alternatives.

Our first stay in a venetian hotel/B & B, the welcoming & overall quality of service left a lot to be desired, but the room had a certain character if a little on the small side. The quality of breakfast served in the room was unnaceptable paritcularly in relation to the cost of the room.

I booked a double and a triple at this establishment. When we arrived, we were given the room shown on the website as a single instead of the double (which we were not made aware of). It is at the top of the staircase. It has a skylight in the bathroom which causes the room to be hot on sunny days. Only because the AC was not working were we moved to a double room! The initial room had a rather thread-bare cover on the bed and lighting fixtures that completely lacked character. Very disappointing. The second room was nicer and looked similar to those depicted on the web site. Shower was very small. Hosts were not very friendly; didn't introduce themslves. Of the six places we stayed, this was the least favorite. On the plus side, it was quiet and clean.

Rooms were OK but rather small, although that is not unusual in Venice. Service was very dismissive and we at times felt we were rather a nuisance rather than valued guests. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, we didn't bother with it most days and went out and bought coffee & pastries. I have stayed in cheaper hotels in Venice which provided better service.

This was one of the most beautiful places we have been to. Spacious, lovely rooms, our own "secret garden", complete with private entry through a neat old iron door, then an even more beautiful wooden one that let us right out on to a canal. Lots of things well within walking distance, and walk we did. There is so much beauty in everything in Venice. Marilena was just lovely, and very helpful with info, etc. This was our first time in Venice, and we plan to return someday and stay at the Ca' Della Corte again.

The room was small, I'm 5'7" and my feet were at the edge of the bed. the bathroo was nice but it has a glass door and window which you can easily see through! the location is far from san marco (30 minutes walk) but the walk is nice if you dont mind walking.also it is not a short walk from the station and it is not so easy to locate. And the breakfast is not so great, but I do not mind staying again since it is relatively nice if you compare it to other hotels in venice

I have been in Venice the third time. But this was the nicest home for holidays and the best relationship between price and quality. The old beautiful palace is lovely decorated, it is quiet, near by the bus terminal (only one bridge to manage) and wonderful situated between other old palaces with gardens. The host Annarosa is a very friendly and helpful woman and I promised to come back soon. The breakfast is of course Italian, but better than the one I had in a 4 star hotel.

I stayed in the Piano room in the hotel, which is the mst beautiful hotel room i have ever stayed in. This inspired me a lot, and i definetely go to Venice again and stay in that room. I left a book in which i wrote a small message for the future occupants of the room, in the shelves of the room. when i go to Venice again in the future i will get my book back...

I came to Venice with family and this was a great hotel. It was like staying in someone's home. A little small and no elevator, but worth it. Great location. Not in the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas, but easy to get to everything. Great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Will definitely stay again when in Venice.

We took a break from our grown-up kids and family, enjoyed the beautiful weather in Venice, the lovely and cosy room "Mansarde" , breakfast (italian) in our room rsp. on the closed-by roof terrace and liked the place. It is closed by to Piazzale Roma - makes it easy to walk coming from the airport - and is giving you sort of a pole-position entering the vaporreti in the morning, i.e. you will get the best seats on the boat, since main station is the next stop only. Nice people in the hotel and most of the interesting spots can be reached by walking. Rate is not exactly a bargain - but you are in Venice (ask for a room at Danieli to learn about the real expensive life). If you like Venice off the tourist-track, prefer to walk San Polo/Santa Croce/Dorsoduro, enjoyes the boattrips in/around the city - ca'della Corte is a good place to stay. Enjoy and relax.

This was the first time to stay here. The hotel itself was a lovely surprise and the bed rooms were a joy. It was exceptionly cleanand full of beautiful furnishings. The hoteliers were really friendly and helpfull and it was really nice to feel that you were staying in a proper Venetian house. It wasnt the best area for finding somewhere good to eat near by in the evening. We left feeling we would return again and recomend it to our friends. There is a big BUT .... the whole experience was spoiled on reflection by the rather mean breakfast which is served in the bedrooms. Every thing was in packets... no fresh croissants,no fruit of any kind, and you had to tick a form to have a yougart or a minute dish of cornflakes! Please,Hotel Ca'Corte, nip out and buy som fresh bread and some fruit in the morning and then your hotel would be perfect! Regards, Frances Morris. e.mail frances.morris@francesmorris.com

The hotel enables the feeling of Venitian life. The staff is always very kind and helpful. The hotel has a personal, familiar atmosphere, which allows to feel very well. Each room seems to have its own character, with many nice details. Our room was quite large and beautifull. Breakfast is simple, but good (that means typical southern European art), with good coffee or cappuccino. Because they have no breakfast room (the hotel is quite small), breakfast is brought to the room at the time you wish. Alternatively you can have breakfast on the small terrace on the roof. In total my wife and myself enjoyed our stay very much and we can recommend this hotel to everybody, especially to couples.

This was the third time I had visited Venice but the first time I had stayed here and I wish I knew about this place before. The staff is friendly and speak English very well. The place is beautiful and clean. It is easy to get to from the train station (within walking distance). I would definitely stay here again and encourage others to reserve a room here as well.

This is a beautiful hotel that has charm. It is a little outside the main tourist area but that is the reason we enjoyed it so much. We took Ryanair and found it was close to the bus station. It was a little difficult to find in at night since the streets are not well signed in Venice. We enjoyed our visit very much.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ca' Della Corte. We weren't quite sure what we would be getting but it all exceeded our expectations. The staff was warm and friendly, our room was large and the bathroom especially big for european standards. It was so nice to have breakfast brought to us each morning. The location is great-not far from the bus station and in a quiet spot that gives you the privacy you want. It was truly like a second honeymoon and we will be back!!

The room we were given did not resemble the double room on the web site. Room 6 is a small well used room in need of redecoration and was not what we booked. we were disappointed that we were put in this room as we later discovered that nice rooms on the web site were avaliable. The staff were polite and room kept clean, basic continental breakfast.

We much enjoyed our stay and found the receptionists extremely helpful. The hotel is conveniently close to all forms of transport in P.Roma and most attractions are within walking distance. I am a fit 74 year old but I think the absence of a lift may be a factor to consider by elderly or infirm travellers.

This hotel was nice. Our room was lovely with a beautiful Murano chandelier. The breakfast was nice with an added touch of it being delivered to our room each morning. We had been promised a nice welcome for our honeymoon but didn't get anything other than the standard welcome, which was still very nice.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ca' della Corte very much. It is located at an ideal, very peaceful place, and for Venetian hotels it has a very high price-quality relation. We enjoyed very much the possibilty of making coffee/tea in the afternoon with the installed water-cooker and the small regfrigerator that kept our shoppings from the Rialto-market fresh and cold. We surely come back to Ca' della Corte one day ...

The Ca' della Corte was delightful!! Our room was huge (very rare in Venice); we loved having breakfast served in our room; the staff was curteous and knowledgable; and the location was just far enough away from all the tourists. In short, I plan to stay at the Ca della Corte during my next stay in Venice (if only I had a date set)!! We highly recommend the Ca della Corte.

Delightful establishment. Dorsoduro is a grand area in which to stay -- close enough by foot or vaporetto to all standard tourist places, but still allowing one a sense of being within a real Venetian neighborhood. Rooms were great; Anna was most helpful with suggestions (do go to San Giorgio, ascend the bell tower, and look about for the most wonderous views of Venice) and directions. The rooms were large enough. Nice breakfast area in the room, along with a most adequate bathroom. Our rooms were on the third floor and there is no lift, so need to keep that in mind. Very quiet. Very nice rooms, and Venice is truly magical.
