The Ca' del Nobile was located half way between Rialto and San Marco. Perfect location for sightseeing and all activities. We had booked a deluxe room but it was very cramped and we asked to see others. They were very accommodating. We stayed in two different rooms and they both were very quiet, we even had to set the alarm to make sure we got up. The lobby and rooms are on the second floor, without a lift, so make sure you can carry your bags. We had access to free WIFI which helped us Skype to relatives or check the status of our reservations. A continental breakfast was served and an afternoon cappuccino or tea was offered with a cake upon our return every afternoon. The beverages in the minibar are complimentary...which was great after a long day of walking. Denise made several calls to local venues for us and couldn't have been sweeter about doing it. Nicholis makes the best cakes for breakfast and Roberto helped us figure out the airport Alilaguna timetables. (Great deal for 15 euros)They made our stay so enjoyable. The only downside to Ca' del Nobile is the immediate alleyway after midnight or when the restaurant downstairs is closed. The alleyway is very dark and uninhabited, so we were very cautious at night when returning. But I have to say that we never even saw anyone around there at night. The hotel entrance is only 50 feet from the nearest heavily traveled lit intersection. It was never an issue, I am just giving you the information so you aren't surprised. I plan on returning to this boutique hotel with their gracious staff and wonderful accommodations. You will not be disappointed. And do get there via the Rialto stop...there are less steps to negotiate with your luggage.

In the Centre of Venice very near San Marco square. Run by owner, very friendly. Not cheap but very reasonable for the centre of Venice.

We stayed at Hotel Ca' del Nobile over a long weekend in Venice. We chose the hotel for its location near San Marco and its small, quaint style. Whilst our room was clean and nicely appointed, I was disappointed by the value for the price I paid (150-240 euro/night). The room was quite small, the hotel offered no real amenities and breakfast was the same stale rolls with some spreads every day. No fresh fruit or cereal or other options- just 1 crossiant per person and some extra rock hard roles, plus yoghurt. The hotel staff was friendly, but not particularly helpful. So, I would not choose this place again.

We love this hotel, really do. But it should be clearly indicated that, due to it smallness, there is no receptionnist on a full time job. So, if you don't arrive between 8 am and 3 pm, you're supposed to check in in an other hotel located 100 yards away. In addition, the male receptionnist is very professional, very welcoming and knows his job. Unfortunately, he was on duty only one day. The female attndant, alas on duty for the rest of our stay is non professional, stupid and we even wondered wether she loves her job. In addition, we did have the feeling that she was bored, just listening to her music and playing on her computer instead of trying to be helpful for breakfast. Last but not least, on January 1st, she painfully arrived at 10 am for serving breakfast, without previous notice, assuming that nobody would wake up sooner than her. This ruined our morning, as we had planned to stroll quietly in Venice. As a consequence of which I could'nt recommend this hotel if you want to stay on any other day than sundays.

This was the first time we stay at this hotel and that was simple perfect for us. The breakfast was a little bit simple, but anyway it was oke. The public area is also poor, but we didn't want to stay so much in the hotel. They have only 6 rooms on the second floor and that's why the hotel is really quiet.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Venice and it was a truly romantic break. It is more like a european 'apart-hotel' were you feel like you are staying with friends but with all the luxury of a good hotel. The building was gorgeous as were the rooms with exposed beams and cosy linen just as in the pictures. Breakfast was served by a lovely housemaid who was extremely friendly. This hotel made our stay in this fantastic city and I highly recommend it to others.
